Does any one know of a site besides wolf faire /armybuilder to download data files for differnet games systems and Up dates?

Iirc, Lone Wolf has the update sites on their website. I don't have AB on this computer or I'd look it up for ya. Which data files you looking for?

Probably after the IG one (which isn't ready yet - give it 30 days and it might be there. Might take a bit longer).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

Regarding army builder, anyone knows where one could get it cheaper than the really high price Lone Wolf charges?

I buy all codicies and rulebooks, I don't feel like spending one and a half unit of terminator money on something that just makes my points counting and digitalizes my army lists faster... :/

(What Im asking for is if anybody have a retailer that sells it cheaper than Lone Wolf off their site)?

This might be a hair cheaper? I downloaded mine from the WolfLair site and they emailed me a code to unlock it to the full version.

However, I believe it expires after one year! (I don't know if this is true for the CD or not)

I originally bought AB in 2003? And they've been pretty good with the info. I didn't re-up my license the last two years, but you can still pull the updates from the independent sites and use the software.

I think the program is worth the money. I don't think they discount to retailers, so you're
probably not going to find it that way. I might be wrong, though.

When I bought mine, Art's Game Store (formerly Art'sbargains) had it for cheaper than anyone else ($30, I think). I had an order to place with TheWarstore, anyway, so I emailed neal a link to it, and he matched the price.

Ooooh. Linkage:

P.S. I've bought from Art a couple times. He's a stand up guy. He made "RIGHT" on a bitz order for me (back in "the day"), when GW messed up like 3 times and wouldn't try to fix it again.

thanks for the link...

And FYI, I use excel daily, but we all know that it's still way more of a hassle than armybuilder, and with AB you can easily sit and toy with an armylist to tweak it just how you want it overnight before a game, or even when at a game (yes I usually bring my laptop) without hassle which makes stuff sooo much easier
