This will be the Transport for my 1st Merican Lancers
Here is the base appiled with an airbrush
I started with Tamilya grey primer
then gave it a good solid dark grey undercoat
Then using Dark sea Grey I sprayed the panels being careful to leave the hint of shading in the panel lines and deep crevaces
The Interior Green in tamilya cockpit green and weathered by painting paint chips and weathing power on the back ramp.

Cockpit

Cargo bay interior

I still have a ton more work to do on this namely the engines and paint chip weathering
I also plan to give this badboy the shark teeth on the front canopy

I first thought the title was "Mexican Valkyrie" so I was expecting a pimped out Valk with airbrushed semi-naked chicks on the side/top.

But this is really nice as well.

I'm going to show this to a friend of mine who's planning to do his Valk in a realistic modern paint scheme like that. It looks good. Are you going to put decals or nose art on it?

...eh, it looks great, but I have to ask: why paint the cockpit and detail it so nicely if you're going to paint over the canopies so no one can ever see it?

The bit stuck on the side of England. Wales isn't it.

I like that bug stomper. Gonna nick that. The valks great too. It looks like the canopy is tinted rather than painted , maybe it opens or is removeable.

I've almost finished painting everything that I ever bought. I vowed I wouldn't buy any new stuff untill I'd finished the stuff I had. Only 8 gargoyle conversions , 16 gaunts , and an old armor cast malefactor and I'm Almost done. Then its new IG , boo ya!

Here's the deal with the canopy, that is making lemonade out of lemons.
By mistake I left the clear canopies in the box when I primed the Valk resulting in overspray ruining the clear canopy.
I tried using thinner to remove the paint which wasn't working the I decided to scrape the paint off.
It worked but the canopy became cloudy and looked like crap.
So to salvage it I dipped both canopies in Tamilya Clear blue paint the blue works with the grey but as an afterthought I should of used Smoke to give it a black tint instead.
I plan on pinning the canopies in place so I can still see my well painted cockpit.

That eagle is great and does count as a pin-up but I am going WW2 old school semi-nekid babes on this one.
Maybe a SoB in a thong

With out a doubt, there is still a ton of work to do on this badboy.
I got to do squadron markings, paint chips, weathering, the Engines
Make 2 custon twin lascannon pods for the wings so this will double for a vendetta,I have twin lascannons on the nose right now and put the targeters near the bottom of the cargo bay underneath and behind the cockpit

Now that you have the gray scheme laid out, are you going to come back and paint the cannons, engines, and gubbins?

Infact I am laying on the metal on the engines and landing gears right now
this thing has quite a long way to go.

I did some engine work and light chipping using a natural sponge(works way better than game packing IMO)
I think the key to doing chipping is to stop after a minute or you will get carried away
