I've been anxiously awaiting this movie since I first saw the trailer, but now that I found these posters on Rotten Tomatoes, I'm Manic!!!

Yeah, but it's a Quentin Tarrantino movie, so that means Hollywood is gonna be out of fake blood for at least a year. And the drinking game where you pound a shot whenever there's an 'F-bomb" will probably elevate itself to an olympic event.

I doubt it. I bet he just swears and throws stuff at the crew and actors and the movie gets made despite him, and it's still better than 99% of the other drivel that comes out of Hollywood.

I think I remember reading once that Where Eagles Dare was one of Tarantinos favorite films.

Each of him movies is a tribute to an genre. Kill Bill for example being a massive tribute to Kung-Fu Movies and Westerns all in one. That one really does seem to be a marmite film. Personally I loved it. Even part 2.

I'm really looking forward to this. More than any other movie this summer.

Has he actually said that that's a fetish of his, or are you just saying that because there are scenes in his films that feature women with no shoes on?

Also, Quentin Tarantino is one of the best directors in the business right now. It seems that some of you really don't like his films? Why is that, if I may ask?

Pulp Fiction-exquisite.
Kill Bill-hokey fine and an excellent tribute, yet still original. Some truly excellent scenes and phrases "Even God would be cut (by this sword)." Sweet

Kill Bill II- meh.
Death car or whatever. So bad it bombed in the original then the recut.

In essence he has not evolved as a director.
Bloody for bloody sake. Weird language spells went from interesting/trippy to boring and lame.

Movie itself sounds likes a kill/torture film using the Nazis to cover that its really just a kill/torture film.

I liked Jacky Brown and Reservoir dogs, though they're not Pulp Fiction. I enjoyed Kill Bill a lot and I like this scene from Four Rooms.

IMO he made his opus with Pulp Fiction/Reservoir Dogs, typeset Samuel L. Jackson into the "Cool Black motherer who says motherer a whole damn mothering lot" and then got lazy and relied on the awesome that was Pulp Fiction to sell his crap.
