I really think part of the problem with Vulkan is the paint scheme. If they didn't use so many colors he would look so much better.

Hmm, Vulcan and Khan, just in time for a Star Trek film.

I know I will get Khan for one of my Honour Guards. I just want to know why they say Vulcan's gauntlet fires as a Heavy Flamer when he carries one and so it is one.

Have to wait to see how the model looks unassembled/unpainted, but I suspect the Heavy Flamer will make skip him.

I hope he comes with a legless version of himself to add to a bike kit, otherwise that's kind've a waste.

Khan's fine, a bit busy, but fine. I like Vulcan even less now. Shooting in one direction, holding his spear in an odd manner, no flow to the model (his coat's going one way, and the purity seals another).

I though Vulcan's gauntlet was supposed to have the heavy flamer built into it like Huron's not tacked on as an after thought.

Khan looks ok, I'd use him for something, I'd also use Vulcan for something after fixing so things about him, like the things on his spear blowing the opposite direction of his cloak, as HMBC pointed out.

Khaaaaaaaaaaaan!!!! looks okay, but where's the point in making him an infantry model?? Shouldn't he be the kinda guy who drives out of Thunderhawk on his bike? While it's still several dozen meters above the ground, of course.

I love his helm, that symbol is on his backpack. Easily removed. I think Vulcan, aside from the pansy spear hold is a badass sculpt.

Edit: Vulcan would be way to easy a conversion to change him to a much better stance. Leave all arms the same. Take the spear hand and rotate it 90 degrees, then reverse the ends of the spear. Then it look like he's planted the spear and is using the guantlet to hose down the enemy. Much better then an underhanded "get away from me" pokey looking motion thing.

My interpretation is that Vulkan is mid-way through throwing the spear, and so the parchment is flowing in a different direction because of that.

I like him. Sword looks kinda crude from this angle, but the rest is as good as you get with the flawed SM anatomy.

The only thing I'm not sure about with Khan is his enlarged boots, but it may be the angle of the photo.

Vulkan is all sorts of lame.

It looks like remarkably like the Vanguard vet who is marching with his sword in basically that same position and just blinged it up even more. Granted the pose is mirrored from that guy but at least he's not wanting a hug or pointing & yelling.

I like them both, khan is the better one though when looking at them both together, the model seems to have more purpose. And i agree with all the posts here, i sure hope they release a version of him on a bike!
