jup that created some kind of image...but i am full well on top of those images now... at fisrt i thought probably the same as everyone else, but i got over that as your a decant chap, so now i only jope you come to terms with that piece of tech you have sitting there... please do have your friend (mums friend even) leave a sort of briefing/debriefing as to what had caused your probs, i think this is higjly interesting...who knows can happen to all of us...

I just want to say, vik, that although I haven't posted pics, I got taken to a family outing, got back at 6:00, had dinner and sprayed the models that needed to be sprayed. I thought I might as well wait unitl they're dry before taking photos. I've sprayed the 2 termies and libby for the diorama, Lenore, Audax, the sniper sarge, the CCS champion and apothecary, the devastator sarge and will do my shrike model (crappy paintjob), chief librarian, captain, the sanguinary priest and the ursus rhino next saturday, then photos on sunday. My mum's friend came and updated/installed something, and said this will help me post pics, as this has happened to someone else. He says he doesn't know what it was, but it worked last time. Two week's time will see the release of the stormraven, something I will buy on the day. If I find the material, I'm gonna make a big arcade-style claw holding the dread, and then a few marines swinging down on rappel lines attached to thier belts, firing one-handed.

sounds like a cool idea for your diorama... will the minis be mounted fix on the diorama or will the get slots in the model to be again used for games?
for what you described this will definatly ooze action^^
i cant possibly say what you should have installed for fixing that problem...a windows update? well its a mystery...hope you didn´t have some viruses on...
sound like you had a very busy day spraying ...
is shrike only done with thin paint? or will you strip him before further treatment?

and I'll be popping down to the FLGS to do some painting after I've taken pics of the models next week.

i never painted in th FLGS as it is a good deal to far away for me, but is this the right athmosphere to paint in concentration? shaso seems to enjoy painting there but for me i need calm suroundings probably...?

It does have the right mood in my LGS, but it really depends on the music playing, how many noobs are there, how many people are painting and what GS you're at.

Well I wanted them to be sprayed before pics were taken, but they weren't dry in time. Since I get home at 6:00 on schooldays (very dark outside this time of year), I don't have the light to post pics. Why? Because we had a powersurge/cut type thing and most of our bulbs died. The living bulbs are the porch, kitchen, and both bathrooms. I'm not taking pics in there. ^^

Oh and now I'm part annoyed, part pleased.

happy- I've got more used to my retainer.
-My knee pain's gone away.
-I have a half-day on wednesday, and will be able to get pics taken, unless it turns out I'm going round my grandma's for dinner.
-I'm off to see where I'm going to work experience tomorrow, missing school in the process.

annoyed- my retainer hasn't magically disappeared.
-the knee pain has been replaced by muscle pain- all the rest has tightened the muscles, making them hurt if I rest for too long then move them.

stormraven will be bought from waylandgames ASAP, followed by some blazing orange paint.
I dunno how much money I have on my debit card, so it all depends... either on release day, the week after or the week after that. Any ideas for the dread-holding claw?

on the muscle hurt.... try self massage...no not that tho that would help too^^ but gentle masaging the hurting muscles and the pain will faint...seriously!
about the stormraven...if i ever (i have an airship....) come into a position to want a stormraven for any army i would probably make one scratchbuilt cuase i cant stand these undersized tanks and aircrafts of gw any more... for me marines might be the same height as an imp but i draw the line when it comes to shoeboxes as tanks for big hulking galactic soldiers...whats the point of gw making such small scla kits...really that gives me the willies every time i see those... i only got a pred and a rhino but the look ridiculous compared of the size of a squad of 10 marines that should sit in there and wait to emerge like sardines...argh...

sorry that i wasn´t yesterday on, we had a big relationship day and went to a theater to see "caveman"...i can recommend it if you ever see it yourself, you will learn a lot about women and men...might come in handy from time to time^^...

oh and i sprayed about 20 cadians and 9 scouts for karskin stand in with a cheap spray primer and it worked like charm^^

work experience experience day today- I went to the place that I'll be doing work experience at. At the front door it had a sign that said "protected by deafwatch security".
Better not steal anything or I might find a bolter round in my head!

as for the claw? i´d go for a scratch built of plasticard or try to get a garden tool suitable for that...there might be something to get a use out of...
