Guys, it didn't end too well...

Let's just say we made a hasty (but tactical) retreat and Brother Nicholas has a fair few spleens... But I learnt something about the xenos! My bolt pistols did more than my combat, so don't take them on in combat! But we shall try again, next time with firepower!

Also I've realized spleens are useless, so those can be thrown away. I believe the liver might hold all the secrets I need

There was quite a bit of cover, and yeah they got the charge 9/10 times! :/ a bit of evil dice didn't help either, but both sides had a bit of bad luck! My bad luck was on single rolls for meltabombs on the raider an the like, whereas his were more 'guy #4 with weapon X failed all rolls to hit! :/

*takes one of the spleens for experimentation*

Lucky that was just simulation and the spleens came from servitors!

Alas, there shall be more battles soon where i can redeem myself! That certainly put a dark eldar shaped hole in my winning streak! But, i now have first hand experience and know what tactics to use next time! I'll update the regimental report later, real world stuff to do!

Call it a recon mission... We now know a lot more about how effective different weapons and tactics work on them! Even a wall of bolters would rip apart their light armour, but combat I'm not sure space wolves could compete!

I have to say, you performed well, the opposition targeted you a lot due to your saving-the-other-marines-ness! But you survived a lot and carried on keeping your fellow brothers alive enough time to attack back!
