The open invite for people who missed the KS is now out - Alpharius should be happy!

I ended up dropping another $78 on the pledge manager on top of my Captain pledge plus Spriggan not bad for a KS I only backed at the last minute.

Posted by MERCS Miniatures Like

Many of you have messaged, emailed, and posted to us saying you have missed the Kickstarter and want to support this game. We have said you would have an opportunity to pledge and now is your chance.

From there, you will another email with a log in link and the process should be about the same as it is for anyone else at this point.

Once you get the login link, follow these directions.

1. REQUEST A PASSWORD. You will find a link of the same name in the orange box welcoming you to the page. Click the link. It will takes you to a page that has a "User account" header and a space to input an email address.

2. LOG IN. The email you receive provides you with a one-time use link. Don't worry. You will be setting up a new password once you log in. If for some reason there is an issue, you can request another password.

3. CONFIRM ADDRESS. After you log in, you will be automatically directed to the "Confirm Address" tab. Here you will provide your address for shipping and change your password to something of your choosing. From here on out, you will log in with your email/username and the password you create here.

Update #68 · Jun 6, 2013 · 21 comments

The time has come to right the wrongs.

If you have an issue with your pledge manager order, let us together fix this thing and move forward to glory and victory. This is a process; it is not instantaneous It will take place over the next couple weeks. We will identify your account, make the necessary refund, then invite you back in to the PM to "fix" your order.

Certainly there can be many "errors", but the one that we have been pinged the most about is the metal Skald and Spriggan (without Hero decks) versus the plastic Skald and Spriggan (with Hero decks). All those that have emailed me or mythsupport about this issue, now is the time to make changes. Other issues are welcome. Simply follow the instructions below.

1.Email mythsupport@prattwebdesign.com with CORRECT in the subject line. Put any corrections you need to make in the text. We don't need a giant story or many paragraphs. Make it a list: easy to find and easy to understand.

2. We'll make the corrections in the system and return the credit associated with the mistake within the PM for those pieces and parts.

3. You'll be invited back in to change your order the way you intended and finalize the order.

Once again, if you have any issues, comments or suggestions, please email mythsupport@prattwebdesign.com .

This is good news for me, because I was one of the backers who got confused about the metal/plastic Skald and Spriggan choices.

Now showing Catachan Jungle Fighters and World War zombies!

Painting total as of 30th November 2025: 136 plus a Deva King statue

Painting total as of 12/31/2024: 107 plus a set of modular spaceship terrain and two walkers and a quad mech and five giants

All of the Metal Minis

Hope that helps!

Hey recruittons, just want to thank you again for this. I had recurring trouble with my PayPal payments for this, and between them being really helpful and your list above, I was able to ensure that I got everything I wanted. Well, paid for everything I wanted...

I have to say that I like the way these guys are still updating their KS front page/pledge level images with pictures of the actual sculpts as they're shown...

Well, you should not be able to see anything, kickstarter locks the frontpage the moment the project is funded, as an effort to prevent creators on changing the details, likewise the updates are locked from editing after half an hour IIRC.

No problem! I ended up getting every mini no included with the game, the quest and treasure decks and the Skald and Spriggan sleeves. This project has me on the edge of my seat for delivery, right up there with Kingdom Death

Hold on to you...butt (?) Azazelx!

From a recent update:

Production

All the base game sculpts are finished and starting production. The stretch goals and additional purchases are in the sculpting process now.

On the printing side, we've agreed on the quote and have started the process of lining up all the little things that go along with printing in China: a schedule, logistics and delivery. Once these things are hammered out, we can move forward with art submission.

Hold on to your butts, but we believe we can deliver the base game and certain other elements (t-shirts) early. We intend to do everything in our power to make this a reality. We are pushing hard to have production copies of the game into our warehouse in November. The stretch goals and add-ons will still be in January. No additional shipping cost will be charged to you. We'll continue to update you on the possibilities of an early delivery. We are not saying that a November delivery is a 100% certainty. It is a company goal.

Holy cow!

Apart from Mantic (and even then there were a few little details missed like the Z'zor mispack) Kickstarter delivery has not been going well for me, though Oathsworn is still on target. Hell Dorado just announced it was going to be delayed as well.

You can't make this stuff up! that's being really picky it's just the flame that's at issue - can't believe EA has the rights to that but why fight them it's not worth it.

EDIT: It appears this is what caused the problems

fair enough then I suppose (hmmm see who EAs partner is )

Project Update #70: There is an EA in Cease and Desist
Posted by MERCS Miniatures Like

We have been busy and we certainly owe you an update. It was going to be last week but a bit of unpleasantness slithered into the world of Myth that had to be taken care of post haste.

Unpleasant news first:

On the 21st we received a cease and desist letter from EA asking us to not use the Myth logo. We were rather taken back by what it could mean, and went to our lawyer the next Monday. It appears they have legal rights to the use of flames on letters, numbers, and symbols. He strongly advised removing the flame. He said it had to do with the close proximity of in the court's eyes to video games and board game. Specifically, most courts will see them both as "games".

The solution was easy for us: remove the flame from the logo. It is shown below. Here is the important part. We need anyone who posted or used this logo anywhere to replace it with the new one. We'll take care of here and the BGG.

Furthermore, it is delaying the printing of certain elements a few weeks because we need to make sure this issue is resolved. As we posted previously, we were working towards delivering early (you'll see proof of the progress later in the update) so this delay won't affect the timeliness of the January delivery date. It is still too early to tell if it will push us out of the November base game goal.

The good news:

Nothing with the Myth logo has been approved for production.

We were set to start Hero and Darkness board printing (with the logo on the back of the boards) this week and that is delayed. But it is gigantically good news not to have wasted money on printing something that would have to be junked for legal reasons.

Progress:

I want to THANK YOU for those who assisted with rule book feedback. It only makes the game better. Well done.

I am taking your feedback from the released game rules and implementing them into the text. Many overlap, some contradict, some make me wonder where my head was at when I was writing it, and other make me wonder what you read.

Text:

85% of the rule book is done.
All items are done.
All hero decks are done.
All monsters are done.
All boss and boss decks are done, except for the fire drake, Urulok. He is still being tested.
All mini-bosses are done, except for Duncan's. He is in early design now.
95% of the quests are finished. Some are too long and need some trimming. Finally, I still need to do the 10 KS exclusive story quests.

Art:
All hero art is done.
All base game hero deck art is done.
All starting gear art is done.
All green item gear is done.
75% of the blue item gear is done.
All the non-realm boards are done.
90% of the realm tile boards art is done.
90% of the monster art is done. Marcus the Ready, Urulok, and Duncan are still unfinished.
50% of the counter art is done.

Production:
All base game miniatures are done. We'll have the samples in hand soon and we'll post an update with pictures.
Base game miniatures are in early production now.
60% of the stretch goal miniatures are in mid-stage sculpting. 30% are in early-stage sculpting. 10% have yet to be started (usual suspects here: Marcus, Urulok, and Duncan).
The dice are in production now.
The board printing was set to start early July. It will be late-July, early August.
Card printing begins in mid-July, late-July.
Rule book and box will be stragglers, but they are also the easiest to print and produce.

I would say we are in very good shape overall. So you can share my perspective, let me explain it like this. We were pushing so hard this summer because we strongly desired a 100% production copy of the base game (it would have been the first production sample) at GENCON. A byproduct of this goal was the base game would have been done and deliver in October. As it is, we'll have a 50% real copy at GENCON (all miniatures will be Myth's and cards will be real; no tiles however due to the delay). So we'll miss our initial goal for GENCON, but that still leaves two months to deliver all the base game components to the printer to have the base game delivered in November.

We have five months to get the stretch goal miniatures into production for a Jan release. Keeping in mind their current state, I would be surprised if they aren't done by October.

We have four months to finish the art for the stretch goals. Considering the progress already made and the time spent to finish the base game art, this will be done by September.

As I mentioned in the last update, we've been making some great progress on all fronts.

Most of the Stretch goal miniatures are ready to start the detail phase. Take a look....as always, these are still WIP. There are adjustments being made.
