Subject: MYTH (MERCS Minis) - Kickstarter 2 starts March 9!
I like these types of games. The models are somewhat neat. Very curious to the rule mechanics. The idea of you playing against a 'system' is very appealing as one of the big issues with SDE is the balance dalls out of sorts real quick with Dungeon master VS players.
I feel the retail box and what you get is a good starting place too.
I want to see gameplay videos.

I'm not a fan of the cartoony-style myself either, but the quality looks fine. Then again, you're the sculptor. What's wrong?

I like the look,... sure the art has an animated feel to it,.... but it's not quite Dragon's Lair though.
the minis are not exactly like the art,... proportions are standardized. I like that the details are exagerated so that they will be easy to work with, paint, modify, etc.
I guess it is all personal preference.

Here are new images of some more of the monsters! The Orcs are from the base game and the Skeletons are part of the Stretch Goals. Note these are in progress, just the rough shapes, but you can see they are coming along nicely.

The Minions stretch goal is back. It was never going to gone for good. We just needed to tweak it to better serve backers. We we started looking at everything, we decided three separate stretch goals for additional minions didn't serve us, nor you. So we removed the two, brought down the Skelly and a mini-boss.
Now that we have reached funding and it appears we'll hit Skellys soon, we wanted to go ahead and get the Minions back in there.
We have also placed the numbers for the miniatures you receive on the Stretch goal. A slight oversight on our part. What you can't read our minds?

If you look at the demo vid; you can see that they are at least distinctive (ranged vs. melee). I'm hoping that the orc sculpts will also have different stats, etc. (though they are all melee types they do have different weaponry). The Skellys that were already unlocked have at least a ranged version,... and the captain looks like a caster!!!!
They are looking into alternat Hero sculpts to expand gender options to each of the characters, but haven't heard a thing about different arachnids of any kind

Really liking the new stretch goals that have been added today (sorry, I am unable to link the pictures). I have been impressed by how well they have listened to the comments and how fast they have implemented the suggestions.

First off, we want to thank you guys for your assistance in getting this project funded. As we said earlier, we try to listen and create for the customers the game they want (as long as we can feasibly do it). In this case, I think we show our hand a little more (kinda give you a glimpse that we mean to take Myth pretty far) and give you something that you requested.
New stretch goals have been revealed. Please note that this still isn't the complete list, but this will put to bed any ideas that we don't have any goals past 200k and give you an idea what is to come.
We also added a 175k stretch goal for alternate gender Heroes. Images will be incoming during the Kickstarter (obviously we haven't started the sculpts). This WILL NOT slow down the production schedule at all.
