Any idea how they'll sort out those of use who pledged for wave one, but have been stuck in processing for over an hour. Do we just get bumped to wave 2 which is filling up on it's own, or booted out and have to repledge at whatever wave is then open?

LavuarnGuard,

Someone on the Reaper Forum (and on Kickstarter Bones III too) did the following to get their pledges to complete.

Crimson_king_of_the_tower, on 07 Jul 2015 - 11:56 AM, said: I went through my history and found the page that asked me if I wanted to pay x amount with this credit card and I clicked pledge again and it ended up processing just fine I am now a backer in wave 1. I dont know if this was just fortunate timing or if what I did had something to do with it! [/qoute]

Yeah, you guys know the drill, they can't hit you with the money-shot right off the bat.. they have to save it for the stall out.

Mithrangul has been my favorite Reaper dragon for many many years, I regret not picking one up for $40 when it first came out about 12 years ago, price increases made it jump way too far above my price range, but for $15? you bet your booty I'm in for one!

I'm in for wave 2 shipping, probably going to stay there despite not really feeling it. I'm still mad I missed first reaper KS, 2nd was a "good enough" deal for me but I was supremely unimpressed by any of the core addons for Bones2 beyond $1miillion.

I'm expecting more of the same from Bones3: a decent deal that's worth it in the end, but nothing spectacular

I've kicked in. I like most of the mini's in the set right now except for that fulgy giant thing and strange reaper thingy.

The lizardmen and all the free ad-ons look amazing so pledgeing for alot of them.

Werecrocodile seems like a very difficult to spread form of lycanthropy.... Awesome models!

I'm in! My wife is currently deciding which dragon she needs to paint. I suspect the answer will be all of them.

I'm loving the werebearian.. there's a lot more lycanthropes to come too. I'll be using him as a War bear or whatever the thing from the last Heroquest expansion was called.

I kind of like the werebearian too from what I can see. Not exactly sure what's going on with him, but looks good from here.

Wonder if they'll have expansion bundles like last time, or just everything is added or core or selected as an addon?

I think Viridius is the new #1 on my list of "Reaper's Worst Dragon Sculpts", and let me tell you, there is some stiff competition there.

And I see Reaper is already getting on the Sigmarines bandwagon with the "Crusaders"

Glad to hear I'm not the only one underwhelmed with the dragon selections so far. They all seem pretty nondescript and give off a very "been there, done that" type vibe.

Of course, these dragons are all metal to bones conversions, so that might be part of the reason they aren't grabbing me. I really liked the dragons I got in Bones 2, and for the most part, they were new sculpts.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Agreed on the Dragon, but I'd hardly liken the Crusaders to Sigmarines. More like Protectorate Cinerators if anything.

· New Learn To Paint Bones Kits are in development, but they are beyond the scope of this project, and will be released through our normal channels, including retail and distribution

· Pledge Calculator- https://ks.reapermini.com/bones3

· The Pledge manager tool will help calculate shipping for international backers. --However, individuals are responsible for knowing their local import laws, to include customs and VAT fees, Reaper is not responsible for paying any customs or VAT fees. Please understand the potential costs before pledging for large amounts.

· To adjust your pledge amount up, you must total up all the items you want and change your pledge amount to reflect that. The Pledge Calculator can assist with that. The Pledge Calculator will not charge any money now. Once the KS ends a few weeks later (about 3-5 weeks) the Pledge Calculator will become the Pledge Manager. At that time your KS pledge amount will become credit and you will have the option to add-on more.

· We spaced out the first day goals slightly and then made the middle period goals closer together. It makes the middle 2 weeks easier to bear if the goals are smaller, since that time span has a smaller average pledges per day.—ie. Meaning that instead of waiting a day or two to hit a new goal, there should be one or two goals hit a day.

· Diabolus does have four legs, one is just slashing out at a greedy adventurer.....

· One of everything is currently $198, not including any applicable shipping.

· Individual parts of the core-set will be available as add-ons later in the campaign.

Eh.. I've got dragons for days.. kinda over that.
The Crusaders just look like heavy platemail to me.. I think they're normal man-sized and not enhanced size. I actually like them for a few things, Mordheim included.

I like those a lot too mostly because they are very much starcraft space marines.. Though being in the UK the shipping jsut wouldnt be worth it.

This is true.

Im hoping it will be worth it when the big stuff starts hitting.

IM ok paying the shipping and vat if I'm honest it's just the Royal Mail handling fee that winds me up.

If you could get only the head of Viridius for 5$ and use it as a sea serpent, it wouldn't be so bad.

No way I'd pay 15$ when Attack Wing and McFarlane exists.

Already got the gargantuan Tiamat, not interested in a non-WotC version(maybe Final Fantasy's). Better to wait ever how many years to get an official colossal.

They confirmed that this will feature some items from Victoria Lamb's store but in bones in this Kickstarter. o_0

Or if they had a saddle to cover up that really bad join/transition.. would be about the only other thing. Definitely not a fan of that sculpt. None of the dragons they've shown for this one have even slightly interested me.
That said, there's a lot in this one that I'm liking, but the dragons are not it.

From the last KS to this one, I'll have what I need for a troglodyte quest featuring kobolds, a beefy chieftan, and all kinds of goodies. It looks like they did some reasearch and are spreading the selection out to open up more opportunities IMO.

According to this quote from the latest FAQ I'm guessing yes:

" Expansions will have a more cohesive theme this time than they did last time. The Core will continue to be an "everything but the kitchen sink" shotgun style, eclectic selection."

Wasn't a fan of the expansion idea, would rather it be all piecemeal. Made the choices really tough last year.
