yeah,
This is Game 8, in the London / Hawaii campaign...
We've Been playing Imperial vs. Traitors games and keeping a running tally of the Results!
Currently we have a Complete tie! -- Traitors 3 - Imperials 3 --

Morehammer and his Friends in Hawaii have played several games in a row! So it was about time we played a London Game!
We made the objective a Nurgle assault on the city of LasShamus.
Space Marines have so far been holding the Traitors at Bay, but now they have reached the city and it's up to the Locals!

+++
Orders had been recieved...
Every Arbitor Precinct was told to collect their Lethal Riot Gear and Report to their nearest Citys Gate and man the Walls.
Every unit was to be mobilised. Any Arbitor caught neglecting their duties or Fleeing walls would be arrested and Trialled For Hearsy.
Vehicles were to used to create barricades.
---
At the West Wall the Arbitor General stood amonst his men, he could smell their fear...
But He knew they had only one choice... To fight...

    I dunno...

Well, technically the Chaos won, by getting PM's onto the Wall, but I say call it a draw because 2 PM's aint gonna last long with that many Arbites around!

Even though thePM's achieved their objective, the game was essentially down to small dice, with big results. It could have gone either way.

    Fantastic game!

The terrain is awesome, well worth the work you put into it. It even looks like you touched up your buildings, great work! Arbitor Ian`s Arbite look killer, I have always loved the models and it is great to see so many painted up and in a game. What a great way to segue into Planet Strike

I must say, Panic, You are a brave man to storm such a well defended position and I was tempted to give you the victory. However the Arbitors look so beautiful on that board that I have to put aesthetic before mission and call it a draw

This may have been a good opportunity to bring in summoned Lesser Daemons as once you get close enough to the walls you could have flooded it. That would also have allowed you to increase your model count and survive all those plasma attacks.

Any way, a well fought and thoroughly entertaining scrap.

Just to let you know, I may continue my treasonous activity and play my guard again for the next game, I just can`t help it! I will try to update the fluff in such a way that shows how my Adeptus Mechanicus, after having lost to Thousand Sons, are now under their influence and switch sides at the whim of the Changer of Ways

All painted and pushing 60,000 points combined.

great game but i might suggest when playing against with a fortified postion ask for an extra 500 or so points for the attackers it was still an insanly close game but that 3+ cover wall helped him quite a bit

The Plague Marines were inside the city when the game ended, thus they won. It should easy for Father Nurgle to spread his Gift once it breached the city.

(Considering how much this mission is stacked towards the Defeneder, the fact that the Attacker got into the city should count as win.)

are they in the city, or not? technicallly, they are on a wall, which is not in the city iteslf but is surrounding the city, and therefore is not within the city limits itself.

    I collect:

    Grand alliance death (whole alliance)

    Stormcast eternals

Slaves to Darkness - currently Nurgle but may expand to undivided.

This seems to imply that once you scale the wall, you suffer no more movement penalties and are thus, inside the city. I'd say the plague marines made it over the wall and into the city, per their mission, and that looks like a win to me.

Looks like the plague is about to be spread...
