I've sorted this mini by lightening the features, Ill get new pics posted soon.

Ok So there's a lot of hype banging about at the moment about the army that got me into the game in the first place. I would like any CnC on the scheme that I have tried on this fig, before I launch into my fourth run of Space Wolves (I've been using them on and off since 2nd ed!) I haven't decided what to use for the base, I'm thinking of snow, possibly...

I like the color scheme. I would say highlight the armour, and use washes, other than that it is pretty good. Maybe thin some of your paints.

Not bad there, Chief. A nice basing will do wonders. Personally, Vegas money says "snow theme". However, I'm not the best poker player, so my Vegas money could be skewed...

I was kind of thinking a lava base.

I would do the wolf furs in a different color, to provide a little more color and contrast to the model in general.

And this guy needs to be strolling through a field of poppies for a base.

Meh . I thought the highlight wasn't enough of a colour change, and this proves it. I'll add some more light grey into my highlight pre mix. I'm trying to make full pots of the colours needed so I can just batch the SW boxes as I buy them, I've got some GHunters waiting...

As people have said, make the armor highlights pop out a whole lot more, and I think the wolf fur should be a lot brighter to give some contrast. Actually, I wish chemistry allowed things like snowy tundras with big lava filled fissures in the ground, because I had a fun idea for some bases...

I really like it, it's very crisp and clean - the face is excellent. As others said, highlight the armour, finish the base and go with a different colour on the fur. I'd recommend a bestial brown base to start, then work it up with other browns from there (Bestial Brown to start for fluff, and cuz it's an awesome colour .
The wolves on the chest and shoulders are aces, love them.
Might I also recommend making the wolves on his backpack pop out a bit more, they've blaise' right now and aren't really noticeable.

Nuclear: Properly pronounced new-clear, not new-cue-lir. There is no 'u' between the c and l, so stop saying it because it just makes you sound like a dumbass. This includes nucleolus, and all other derivatives of the word.

I like it but I think my only dislike is his the hair. I think it needs more shading or something to tone it down a bit, but that's just me

Is the head a separate piece on this model?

I hope so, otherwise, it is no-sale for me...

I think theyd look great on a snow base. I think its that whole Space Wolves are Nordic looking type deal.

Skin tone seems way too dark for a "space viking". I'd go lighter. I like the rest.
