I was happy to find that i was able to build another looted wagon with boom gun this afternoon thanks to my bits box possessing qualities similar to a bag of holding:

Note the grot "spotting round" in the main gun... On second look I think I should drill out some vent holes in the barrel muzzle though...

I think i have enough spare parts to kit-bash one more, which I hope to do by the end of the weekend in preparation for a planned "Orkpocalypse" game on the 30th!!!

When I kit-bash I just start slapping on gubbins until it looks "right". That is the orky way imho.

Besides I have deffrollaa in the works for my battlewagon that is magnetized so it will be removable...

Orks anarcic colour schemes are one of many of their cool features that and the fact that they are AWESOME!

Yes. This model is just primed(black) and basecoated thus far.

Looking at yours again I am so amused at the size of my scratch builds. Yours seems to be just the right size. I have really got to work on that. The last one I made is twice the size of yours I think. I have not played with the 2 I made but I am sure that there will NO WHERE for me to hide them on the field.

I have the same problem with a couple of deff dreads I made. They're twice as tall as the GW ones. Sometimes, inspiration runs away with me.

Stump I like your builds a lot. Besides orks don't hide they roll over and kill stuff...

I try not to get too hung up on size of things. My battlewagon kit-bash is huge compared to the GW stock kit, but since GW made me wait close to two decades to get an actual BW kit they don't get to tell me mine is too big now that they decided to get off their asses and finally make one...
