I'm an avid Flesh Tearers collector, but I was just wondering if there's anyone out there who collects a different successor, and why they thought that was the best one.

See I would love to make a Flesh Tearers army, so I will second your vote. They are definately on my short list of armies if I make anouther Marine army.

The Blood Drinkers and Flesh Tearers are the only two interesting ones, the former because they're a strict Codex Chapter despite the whole Red Thirst/Black Rage thing, and the latter because they're flying rodent gak insane.

The Assault Squad in my Deathwatch army is led by a Flesh Tearer Sergeant. I imagine he does not get on well with his Imperial Fist second in command.

I always regarded the Original Blood Angels the most Interesting of the lot.

As Interesting as Emo Vampires can be Compared to the Awesome that are Viking Werewolves I suppose.

I just looked up the Blood Drinkers, interesting indeed. They helped Liberate Rynn, that gets them bonus pts in my book.

Emo is stupid hair-cuts, writing dorky poems about how much of a pain life is, complaining about how no one understands you, and doing hopeless fething art with people crying.

I Like Lamentors. Why? because they are not the "Almighty Gods of War" a lot of marines get to be. They do something stupid, they get their hineys handed to them.

Lamenters, They fought against the imperium and still remained untainted by chaos. They have paid their penance by their heroism in the face of hive fleet behemoth.

Plus as a ork player they gots checks!

That's more Fleshtearer than Blood Angel. The Blood Angels themselves are more artistic as a whole. Think Italian Rennisance Artisans who happen to be tragicly flawed with murderous rage. Look to the ornate nature of their armor and banners as a guide. Consider the story of Tycho's rage over disfigurement at the hands of Orks.

Fleshtearers are savage barbarians who would revel in such battle scars.

Sanginius was much loved and very pretty. Blood Angels care about looks. Just because some of them become raving madmen, it doesn't mean the rest of the chapter doesn't care about stuff.

By the way, Lamenters fought Kraken. The getting thrashed part remains constant.

Still think that it's Flesh Tearers. They are from the Second Founding, so they're the most mad!!!!!
