Flash-gitz do come with 4+ save base & are obviously hard. Good for leading a charge providing cover-saves while making the Dakka.

The first bit is fine and funny to see.

The second bit made me cut myself.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

The eye of terror.

I think flash gitz (if you're dead set on using them) make a better support element for shoota-boy hordes than slugga-boy hordes.

Lootas are still better so they can blow up your enemy's transports so the shoota boys can fire at the guys that come out.

Not even close to cheesy. You should still do pretty well against most armies. Make sure to throw in a couple of Big Meks w/ KFF so that you have a chance of making it across the table. Oh and swap a couple of slugga mobs for shootaz. Make sure all of your boy mobs are 30 strong and haev a pk/bosspole nob leading them.

Do you typically put Big shootas with the Shoota boys and Rokkits with the sluggas?

My logic is that the sluggas can target anything while running across the field, while the shootas are best against infantry.

i like mixed units of sluggas and shootas they work best for me and always have 1 rokit and 1 big shotta a mob

3 big shootas per mob, with one mob of 20 shootaz boys gettin 2 rokkitz

i prefer slugga boyz, just due to the ridiculousness of getting in close combat

I use the flash gitz, since they are cool, they took out 2 stealth teams and a battlesuit team the first time i used them

For shoota boy mobz go ahead and take BS,but for slugga mobz I wouldnt even bother with either BS or rokkitz, just take 30 boy strong mobz,Nobz with PK &BP and RUN,dont waste time stopping to shoot rokkitz or BS,close the distance between your boyz and your opponents forces as quickly as you can, slugga boyz belong in cc,not poping shots at things.

It doesnt sound cheesy, but it sounds like a boring list to play. Turn one through 3 move 6'' run d6". Turn 4 assault, and win if you have enough troops left. Every game.

Edit: not to mention a movement turn with 140 boyz will take FOREVER.

I wrote up a 750 point list with 3 squads of 12 boys with pk nob + trukk.

But my favourite part of the list is the two squads of burnaz lead by warpheads. Just so I can try and get the deep strike behind the enemy.

Ubercheesy would be grots as troop choices (meatsheild) and lootas with a KFF Mek near them, ideally covering the grots too!

IS this thread for real?

ORks are one of the classic horde armies. Playing them as a horde is cheesy? Now I have heard everything...
