I'd say the Kannon, as it gives the best firepower in the short range. I am, however doing this from an old codex, so I could be well off. Hope this helps though.

Personally I prefer kannon - it's cheaper, and more versatile as it can shoot with either frag (with a blast template) or a ant-tank shell. With BS 2, it won't actually hit anything that often anyway, but is still too much of a long-range threat for the enemy to ignore (unlike a weaponless BW).

How many meganobz do you want to transport?

In the past, I've found that weapons which only one tpe of unit are allowed to take are generally pretty good. The killcannon is pretty sweet against beakies.

However, if you want to put more than 6 nobz in there, you need something else. Zapp is nice, since the gets hot rule doesnt effect the vehicle. Throwing four big shootas for five points each ain't bad, or four rokkit launchers.

If you're going to put close range weapons on the nobz, it might also be a good idea to throw a deffrolla on to the wagon for the d6 strength 10 (i think) hits it gives you. Plus, if someone doesn't know the rules and decides to death or glory, you get 2d6 str10.

If you want to transport 10 meganobz you should'nt even worry about anything more than some BS and a DeffRolla.

Lookin at the ork codex, it no longer specifies that Zzap guns automatically hit like they used to? Or did I miss that?

If you have to roll to hit with them now, might as well go with a kannon, its cheap enough to be worth the luck factor Ork shooting relies on.

Im kinda sad you cant mount skorchas on wagons anymore :(

Correct they now roll to hit
I recommend you take the lobba. You will probably only be using the blast attack anyways so it might as well be S 5 with a range of 48".

Battle wagons shouldn't bother with the big gun. It should be moving to deploy mega nob death, then it should be ramming. I take big shootas to prevent an immobilized result on a weapon destroyed. Sometimes I take 4 big shootas so I can dakka something. The other guns on the BW other than the killcannon aren't reliable.

And I must say that 10 mega nobs is just a sick thing to drop in somebodies lap. A bit overkill actually. But man if you can pull off a multi charge with them it would be great. A Thraka powered Whaaaagh! could get the job done.

the 3 big guns are heavy.So if the battlewagon moves the big gun cant fire?
4 big shootas are good for firing troops, but one big shoota is at the right side and one at the left of the battlewagon.So you cant fire always with 4 big shootas
