So I'm racking my brain trying to think of an army/kit bash I can use the Romans for.
I've thought about a 40k scout army, Empire Fantasy or WoC, etc.
There's gotta be a way to fit these sucka's in!
Also, looking at using the British Firing Line for an awesome IG set-up.
Give me some feedback! These mini's are too good/cheap not to be utilized. Celts/Germans for Warriors of Chaos, Zulu Warriors for a Lousinana Themed Vodoo Vampire Counts army! Come on!

You could instead consider playing Warhammer Ancients, then you could just use them as Romans. They also have some pretty good-looking Celt warriors.

I do play WAB - I had a Republic 15mm army, but our group stopped playing so . . . . Would be nice if it started up again though. But seriously, could you imagine using the Zulu's for Zombies/Ghouls in WHFB Vampire Army? Voodoo powa!

Aaron Chapman did a Roman themed Empire army. Pics and write up of it can be found here: http://www.remanlegions.com/.
Aside from Empire or DoW, there's really not much place that Roman figs fit into WFB.

With enough Lasguns & gear, any army easily becomes some flavor of Imperial Guard.
With Ultras already sporting a Roman motif, I'd suggest a Roman Guard Regiment as counterpoint.

From the Death World Pax Romana! I give you, Romachans! I like it. Add some Catachan arms/accessories, and we're cooking.
