Iv'e had this idea since I got two boxes of Stormboys, but couldn't get a Stormnob. Its just as the title says: one lazy nob. He is using a Spez Marienz backpack as a rocketpack (cause he thinks it is) and is being towed by the two grots. I just did a bitswap with a friend and got a bunch of bitz that I needed for this. Its going very well, but I still have two things that I need to do

Firstly, I want his feet to look like thy are slowly coming off the ground. I tried cutting into his heals a bit, but that just didn't do it.

Secondly, the grot on his left side slowly drifts down. The one on the right is held up by the chain, which is connected to the Nob at two points. I don't want to use green stuff on the grots hand, since it allready looks perfectly like he is holding the chain.

Any other ideas would be appreciated as well.

Thanks in advance

But public opinion, because of the tremendous urge to conformity in gregarious animals, is less tolerant than any system of law. When human beings are governed by "thou shalt not", the individual can practise a certain amount of eccentricity: when they are supposedly governed by "love" or "reason", he is under continuous pressure to make him behave and think in exactly the same way as everyone else.

Hahaha funny indeed.

I suggest you got for a more dynamic pose (have him going superman ) and making some greenstuff chains instead of the sucky fantasy ones (there are 2 great tutorials here on Dakka for 'em).

Sorry to be a pain, but can you tell me where such articles can be found?

Edit: Just to be clear, I'm not an idiot. I do know where the article section is. I mean those one specificly, since searches for "green stuff chain" don't turn up reults. unless you mean more general green stuff molding articles of course.

Thanks, I'll consider that

Ok, Iv'e made his pose more supermany by adjusting the klaw and the head looking up. Iv'e decided to stay with the chain, because I don't mind it and it works well structurally. However, I'm going to make some chain to wrap around him as if its holding on the backpack/rocketpack.

Actually, thusfar Iv'e done about 30 minutes of real work on the guy... in those pics it was only 10. This is MUCH easier than it looks. Just use some green stuff and hack off some arms. very simple.

But thanks. I'm glad my models have the illusion of work in them.

I really like that. I think the chains look fine personally and the placement of the grots is good too. I wouldn't be using green stuff either, I think it looks great!

I appreciate the support guys. I've done some small tweaks, and the right grot stays on now. I'm currently painting him so I can see what other changes mught be worth doing. I'll post more pics when the painting is done so I can see what you think.

One question: would it look better if I cutt off the dangleing chain? I can't decide if I like it or not.
