I play Orks...the Tyranid players around here all run Nidzilla lists pretty much just like this one. Its always a close fight, and they're always grueling fights, but at the end of the day, I still win for a couple of reasons:
1. I have Ghazghkull, and you can bet that he'll be multi-assaulting as many of your nidzillas as possible. =p
2. My Kombi-skorchas work great against those genestealer units.
3. I will always get the assault. With fleet, you can potentially get an 18" assault, while I have a guaranteed 27" assault.
With that said....
---------------------------------
Have you considered wings for your Hive Tyrants? Aside from that, I don't know enough about Tyranids to really critique your list. I do know that Tyranids are a meaner opponent than anything else I've ever played.

Not too sure what to make of some of the choices for your units...why VC and wings on a tyrant? For that matter, why warp blast with a VC?
Carnifex don't need TS...unless you really, really want that S 10. Also, what point value are you aiming for? I'm guessing at least 2000.

You have no WoN guants. I would play this list with my Deathwing and I'm sure I have a decent chance to win. Your troops die then all you can do it tie. If you hide them, then I'll assault and kill your carnies. Easy. Ok probably not that easy lol but its over-upgraded nidzilla. Outflanking stealers shouldn't be feared. They might arrive in place, or may not. Might as well put something worthless on the sides so they assault it and then promptly die. Or my favorite, have everything in AV14 and laugh. An army you should fear is for sure Immolator Horde. Granted not many people play it but if you see someone with it and want a VERY VERY hard challenge, go ahead. Stealers, meet 10 Heavy Flamers. Carnies, meet 21 meltas. Don't even ask about mr. rending mass bolter fire either. Beliel did one game, he promptly died along with his whole squad the next turn.

With out Number is massively over rated. it makes guants more expensive, you could just buy mre guants and not get them all blown up.

@Combo How? Hide them behind a rock for the whole game? Even then since most armies are mech. they could just use their mobility and get right next to them shoot + assault they are dead. If they are in the open then they are dead. Take a big 32 man squad, they are even easier to tie up. Take a bunch of little squads its just easy to kill.

Saying that WoN gaunt are overrated is slowed have you read a nids codex they are the one semireliable objective holding unit. For 24 pts you get UNLIMITED gaunts. So you say buy more gaunt and keep them alive I ask you how. Here's some math for you. 8 WoN Spinegaunts costs 64 pts. For the same pts you can get 13 gaunts (1pt more so that I'm techinicly correct). Ok so 64-65 pts ok so after a turn of shooting and let's say 8 wounds happen to both squads. Next turn I have 8 gaunts and you have 5 another turn of shooting next turn I have 8 gaunts you have zero hey I have more gaunts than you for same points now go bash you head with your keyboard for saying something so slowed. And sinse you are going to come back and say but you lost 2 or 3 kps and I only lost 1 let me tell you in a kp game I just would not being them back at all you don't have too!

Calling someone else's opinion slowed just for not liking WoN gaunts is pretty uncalled for..
But it looks like a pretty solid list, am confused why the winged tyrant has VC and warp blast though

@combo: WoN works for this list as it gives you an unlimited supply of troops to claim/contest your home objective (assuming you get that mission).

Anywho i don't know huge amounts about nids mate so you should take people who routinely play them's opinions over mine. Its just ive only seen one guy using won in the gaming group I belong too, and he's well known to be one of the poorer players in our group.
However anecdotal evidence of my part doesnt prove WoN is bad, so I'm sorry for passing of my opinion as fact.
EDIT: to be fair to drummer he did not call me slowed, he just said that he thought thinking WoN was over rated was slowed. Theres a subtle difference there.

I'm a little skeptical of this list being undefeated. It could be that everyone in your area learned to over-upgrade their units, in which case you're par for the course. Otherwise, you're sinking a lot of points into things that are either very shooty to begin with, or very survivable to begin with. There are redundancies (VC and warp blast on winged tyrant... why not go dakka tyrant or CC?), TS on dakka fex (max strength is 6 on devourers), exoskeleton on fexes (T7? That'll help against plasmas... but missile launchers, meltas, and lascannons will still eat you), regenerate on fexes (are you really THAT good at rolling sixes?), etc. etc.
I have a hunch you may be playing the codex wrong. Things like rolling all the regenerate dice for all the carnies at the same time, using strength ten devourers, firing warp blast with your regular shooting attacks, and other things which would make the, frankly, nonsensical biomorph/weapon choices more... well, playable.
Sorry for not giving you the benefit of the doubt here, but a few things just didn't add up.

EDIT: to be fair to drummer he did not call me slowed, he just said that he thought thinking WoN was over rated was slowed. Theres a subtle difference there. TBH WoN does sound like a dumb idea if you just read / think about it for a second. Anyway, I do find that most Nid players are newbies. At least in my area. They over upgrade and buy pointless units, and for other unexperienced people, nids are scary! MC's galore and rending troops sound scary, but they are quite easy to deal with. Their troops die to flamers and just focus fire. Carnies are quite weak in CC with their low WS and initiative and if you can draw a stupid player (one guy in my group) to get his guants out of synapse range, its easy to win. The most annoying thing is when Nid players ignore Synapse. I had to tell this guy "your not in synapse" 3 times and then he would go "it doesn't mater"..... The kid is an idiot and one of those mega-nerds (I'm talking about he's 15 and thinks girls are icky) but I happen to notice the lack of good players playing nids where I'm at. This leads me to a question.... When deep striking spore mines, do they scatter as a group or individually. He took 9 and it took literally 6 minutes for him to scatter them all. I stopped arguing about his scatter direction (ex the scatter dice was north-east and he put it south kind of thing, so I just decided I'll let the idiot get his way just so I can finish this and leave) Thats kinda a rant but because I can't drive myself to the store ATM I usually get there late and have to play this kid (wonder why he's always out of a game -.-) and it compiles up....

No. Just no. It can be utilised poorly but it is not a bad thing.
Nids have problems with keeping troops in the backfield. They dont have any troops that can do anything from the backfield. This leads to it being very hard for nids to control thier own backfield whilst maintaining thier close-range/ HtH superiority.
WoN gaunts solve this - I.e 10-30 t3 fearless wounds run towards you, along with the rest of the army. It is in synapse, like any good nid army should provide enough of (or not need, see genestealers). These then either get shot to pieces & die, charge in & die, or they actually survive & do even more damage making thier lack of dieing worthwhile. When they do, inavaraibly die - they have soaked up wounds that would otherwise have gone against more importantant elements & they now respawn (yes, costing one more KP, not an issue, concidering its a choice & not a forced thing) and can now hold at the back of the army.
They now roll thier LD5 or/and Go to ground. I cant remember, but if they fail - can you choose to go to ground (lurk) with them, afterwards? Either way - even if they do fail, they book it towards your nearest synapse.. which should be making its way back to them or be a ranged unit anyway & isnt too far off.
Its worth the extra points, to gauarentee a scoring unit.
EzeKK wrote:The most annoying thing is when Nid players ignore Synapse. I had to tell this guy "your not in synapse" 3 times and then he would go "it doesn't mater"..... Best bet; remind who-ever from the start. Casually, gently, firmly. Ask them to tell you whats thier synapse range, how it works & which units provide/need it. The, as the game progresses, remind him again. In the long run, your actually helping him to keep his army in line because otherwise, if he tripped up on synapse, he should pay the price for it & have to regroup/get back in range etc.
EzeKK wrote: I stopped arguing about his scatter direction (ex the scatter dice was north-east and he put it south kind of thing, so I just decided I'll let the idiot get his way just so I can finish this and leave)
As per the BGB suggests, role the scatter dice near or on the point of entry. This way the parrallex error is reduced/avoided.
Also, use a one of the measuring sticks (or rules, or pencil) and simply hold it up in line with the scatter dice. Then, to affirm this, place additional 'marker' die forward & behind the arrow scatter dice in line with the arrow. This way, when he comes to working out the scatter distance, you can simply place the first moderl (or spore mine) along that line ooorr parrelll to this line.
