Well, today at work, I got a call from my favourite foreigner.

Zoe was having a Barbeque round at hers, and was inviting me round for a couple of drinkies and a laugh. So I packs my bag with 2 Bottles of Red Wine, and a 3 Bottles of Hobgoblin Ale.

And I found myself drinking my beer, and playing Trivial Pursuit with a former member of The Damned. Not to mention exchanging Monty Python and Brian Blessed quotes with him. Turns out, he once met Brian Blessed on his way to Top Of The Pops, in the BBC, in a lift. Brian Blessed was dressed up for Dr Who. Using my colossal knowledge of Dr Who, I ascertained that the character he was dressed as featured in 'Trial of a Time Lord' Colin Bakers 3 to last story, and Nicola 'great tits' Bryants final story.

Utterly random, but hugely enjoyable!

Ah, Dr. Who. One of the few things that make life worth living. I'm getting my daughter hooked on that show these days.

So Dr Who, Brian Blessed, a BBQ, Hobgoblin Ale and a member of a legendary punk act?

Sounds like an afternoon most full of win.
