Needs scarabs and immortals. If you are gonna go with the Lord choice why not go with a Destroyer body? he can soak up wounds that are fire at destroyers.

The only thing I would put in it would be scarabs.

If I lose it is because I had bad luck, if you win it is because you cheated.

Actually, Destroyers are fine but you really want 2 squads of them. You could cut your warriors down to 10 in each squad, which gives you 108 points to get 2 more destroyers. This lets you split your Destroyers up into 2 units of 3x. that way, they help each other out with WBB rolls and you get a little more bang for your buck.

Feasting on the souls of unworthy opponents

More destroyers and less warriors means that you phase out faster.

I think you should take one huge squad of warriors, and a second small squad of warriors. Give the lord veil along with the rez orb, and you've got an extremely difficult squad to deal with. Honestly, I think having a monolith in there is more important than any number of scarabs or destroyers.

Actually, having one huge squad of Warriors doesn't work in 5th ed. It's too easy to get swept.

Somewhere in the unknown universe.

This looks pretty much like my cousin's lists, and he does pretty well with it. Just remember to keep your Heavy Destroyers moving away from the enemy so they don't get into combat.

Also, as a combat strategy, you should have one squad of warriors start on the table and slowly advance up the board.

The other two squads should arrive via the monolith.

Congratulations, that was the stupidest remark the entire wargaming community has managed to produce in a long, long time.

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.

Keep your warriors close and when one of them gets in trouble veil away or a late game objective snag. Also keep the heavy destroyers close so you get your wbb rolls cus he can only attack one squad at a time. Last thing pray they can’t get behind your lines and get into h2h Snikrot ruined my day once that why ill always use scarabs or wraiths now.

Scythewing, you can afford to drop the Monolith if you want to go destroyer heavy. It's more effective to run an extra squad of destroyers and 1 more HD in that single man unit than it is to run a Monolith. You need to give yourself more WBB protection, it's not hard to knock down 5 T5 models if your enemy has the shots (which most can).

Lol just helping with a list make up. I normally run scarabs and wraith instead of a monolith. Scarabs are the unsung heroes of the crons with the turbo boost for a 2+ cover save in open field. And the wraith ether they are on of wayyyyyyy off,.but all in all good for a scare tactic.
