Hey guys I need a little bit of advise on plasticard as ironically the title dictates. Mainly from a uk perspective where is the best place to get the from. I can never find them in my local hobby store but there is a hobby centre out on the edge of the city but don;t want a wasted journey.

Also whats the best measurements of plasticard to use?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Well Im from across the pond obviously, BUT I can tell you that garage/yardsale/forsale signs work pretty good as plasticard. It usually comes in a couple different thicknesses and works perfect for it. Best part is, Im sure you can buy those anywhere you want.

Well,it's real name is "sheet styrene".You can find it in most hobby train shops.Maybe even at your local hardware store. And as Kingcracker says alot of signs are made from it,beware of dog signs are also made of sheet styrene.

Just to back up the above posters....

I bought signs from the local hardware store that are 1mm sheet styre and only printed on one side. You can see some of the printing here on my warhound:

I'm in Bristol, there is a model shop called antics, but whenever I go in there they never have anything there.
