Starting on June 16th ( no idea for how long , hopefully permanent )
We can list 5 items for free regardless of start price every 30 days.

However... Final Value Fee First 5 listings every 30 days
8.75% of the closing value or $20 for first 5 listings (that'll work out to be $4, per item)

Is this a good improvement?

Do you have a link to more info about this or do you know if it also applies to ebay.ca?

This sounds pretty good, I'm a little confused about the last part with the final values though so any link to this on ebay's site would be great.

Thanks for posting.

So basically if your item is $45.00 or less ebay gets a 8.75% fee for each item you succesfully sell.

If your item sells for $46 dollars or more the ebay fee is $4.00 per item.

This is just going to encourage people to list 5 items per month at stupid outrageous prices.

Basically yes.

Or a good reason to sell whole armies at once.

As a seller I have increasingly gone off eBay because of the numerous changes they have made in the past couple of years.

You can do the sums on this promotion to tell if it is worthwhile or not.

Honestly this isn't much of a promotion. The listing fees for a set price item is 30 cents usually. And the final value fee is around 8 something percent. It's not saving you any money.
