Okay, to start I KNOW these marines are so god awfully painted that even my 3-year-old coud do a better job!
BUT - The good news is 90 percent of these models are metal! So Simple Green strip away baby!
Pictured are a number of command figures including a chaplain and a SM Commander. There are 6 scouts, 6 troopers, 8 heavy weapons, 6 jump troops including 2 of the REALLY old jump packs, 5 Terminators, including 3 of which I think look like the alien guys from "The Fifth Element", you know, the guys who opens the temple in egypt with the key in his finger.
This lot also includes 10 BEAKIES including 2 Beakie command figures, troops with their beakie helmet off but hanging on the model. (I photographed this so you can see, they're actually pretty cool!.
Out of the troops, believe it or not, one of the guys is armed with the eldar weapon (Shirken Gun?)
I took a few close-ups of the curious guys but if you want more pictures let me know.
What am I Looking for? Well, I'm crafting an Ork army and if you want to trade make offers of Orks or cash. In truth I am looking to hand these off to someone who could use them/want them or need them for their unique army. I am MOST interested in Killa Kans!!!!!
In addition, there are some troops without arms and a few extra power fists and gun arms loose. I left these off as I figure if you want the models you have something in mind for them and will kit them as you want, not as I wanted.

Wow So have you had them this whole time, or did you get them from someone else? Very impressive to see so many ooooooldschool models together, and in the same scheme (even if it could use some work )

I acquired them in the early 1990's (I think 1992?) From my then best friend's brother who played and wanted to get out (headed to college/got a life).
I had started with Space Hulk and played Nids when they first got out. I have an origional Carnifex somewhere as well as a Genestealer Magus. But my force was very small so I bought this one with paper route money.

Yes one of the original metal scout models had a Shuriken Catapult. Of course, this was RT, when having a Catapult didn't mean you had an Eldar weapon.

How much are you asking for the lot? As far as orks go I only have the AoBR orks on the sprue, so you most likely aren't in need of those.

I know there are people who will appreciate htese old models. As such, That's one reason I put them on here for sale/trade.
In truth, I will take best offer be that $20 or AOBR Orks... As long as hte person they go to will give them a good home. The way I see it is someone out there has been looking for models like this and can get good use out of them, maybe even bring them back to their origional glory,
My only request is, after adoption, if someone does paint them up is to keep in touch with pics. I would love to see what these guys could have been so long ago if they didn't wind up in the hands of a 13 year old with too many projects already on his hands.
As to what i'm looking for: I'm putting together a Killa Kan wave and that will complete my Orks. What I need are 6 Killa Kans and a SAG. That doesn't mean I'm asking for 6 Kans and a SAG, but hey, even a few Kans would help greatly. It'll be one of those OBO deals I think, of I even get an offer
Again, You guys may have seen some of my other trade posts and this one is much different. I'm more interested in the owner rather than what I get for it. It makes me wonder, I have 3 heavy weapons, a RL, Plasma Cannon and Heavy Bolter, which I could not figure out which models they went to except that there were two jump troops without right arms. Could you arm marine asasault troops with heavies?

It would be more beautiful with a decent paint job I have half the mind to dunk these in simple green myself just to get the distracting red and white off.
Ohh, if anyone was wondering, it was my own chapter, the "Fire Angels" I origionally wanted to do a chess theme but damn checks are hard!

they are pretty cool and I'm sure some simple green would make em even cooler
BUT
I did finally get an offer and accept it. Got the Kans I need They plan to use the marines as Crimson Fists. I can totally see that with practically every model sporting a massive power fist!
I still have my blood angels on FeeBay but they aren't as cool as these babies!
Thank you everyone for offers and for looking at the models. I truly have gotten alot of joy out of posting this one if for anything knowing I let a few old timers like myself experience a moment or two of nostalgia.

I already have a few of the old mini's so that's a start.
EDIT- Dido. Congratz anyways
EDIT Once again- Can you post a link to the feebay webpage for your sales?

In Rogue Trader the Shuirken Catapault wasn't an Eldar Weapon.. it was just a weapon. That models is pure metal, catapault and all.
Also, for those interested, here is the FeeBay link for my old Blood Angels. The Dread is the same dread, the Chaplain is.. ahem.. "Classic". I'm also throwing in a primed unpainted RL to go in the second squad which is not in the acution.

As if on cue, you hear two people singing from the stairwell, and the door is opened and a pair of very smelly, very dirty guardsmen stumble in, completely drunk, and covered in vomit, and immediately collapse unconsious on the porch. You drag them to their beds, realising that they will not be waking up for some time. |
