Hey everyone, forum noob here. Stopped playing 40k years ago, but recently discovered my Orks in a drawer and have sorta gotten back into it. Been taking all my boring models and reworking/converting them, cause what's the fun in playing orks if you don't mess with them?

Here's a bunch of conversions I've done. Most just need paint. Hope you enjoy... comments, criticism, etc welcome and appreciated. More to come soon!

A Very nice Warboss conversion. I especially like the Claw.

Some people play to win, some people play for fun. Me? I play to kill toy soldiers.

No one else has feedback?

Also, added some guitar string cables for the claw this morning

Guitar strings are perfect for adding cool looking cables. I dig it so far man. Deffinetly will be a nice boss. Also dont let the few comments get you down. I too usually have to bitch and complain before people start saying things. Next time try and take pictures with better lighting and some white paper behind the mini. It should help out with the clarity.

I knew that using a chaos dread claw was a good idea. maybe I should combine it with some bioniks . . .

Anyway I rather likes it, even though its abit difficult to make out on the pictures. Looks highly orky, and ded killy so is v. good in my books

Out of curiosity, are guitar strings quite cheap? Cabling is needed sometimes but I havnt thought of anything to use

Thanks guys. I'm working on the better pictures issue haha. And yeah, I didn't even need to modify the claw at all. Perfect size and fit!

As for guitar strings, you can buy one string for about 2 bucks, buy a standard gauge low E string and that will give you plenty of great cabling. I found an old broken string so I cut that up, saving my good strings for my guitar.

Agreed. The best part is its full of a couple different sizes of "cable" and the thinner strings you could use for pinning if you wanted.

Also agree,I have found multiple uses for guitar strings, and since I play I always have some broken ones laying about.

thank you! another cybork and a mekboy coming later tonight (does the new dex still have mekboyz as a part of a warboss's or big mek's bodyguard?)

Guitar strings are awesome. I've been using them a lot lately, and i also always have broken ones lying around since my brother and I both play guitar.
