The battle is a 3 player free for all using 1000pts each, staring:

Mark(Superscope) with his imperial guard

Dan(Scerri) and the forces of chaos

Shaun(Cobrastrike) with his space marines

This is a objective match, with the snack bowl in the middle of the tabel the objective (our troops for bloody hungry)



Turn 1 - Scerri

Scerri moves forward with pretty much everything he's got. His rhino unloads his troops so he's closer to the objective.

Scerri like last night, dealt painful shots from his defiler


Turn 1 - Superscope

Seeking revenge for his poor guardsmen, superscope unleshed all of his firepower of his tanks on the forces of chaos, ignoring the space marines. Needless to say, the tanks score alot of kills.


Turn 1 - Cobrastrike

Not wanting to be left out of the battle, Cobrastrike moves most of his troops on all fronts, starting with snipers at superscope's rear....

Followed by a land raider crusader towards the objective


Turn 2 - Scerri

Realizing that sticking around would be pretty much suicide, Scerri packs up the troops with his rhino and hides behind terrain

Having moved his chaos land raider around terrain in the last turn Scerri attempts a premeptive strike before it could deal and damage.


More effective shooting from scerri's defiler (He really likes his defiler now)


Turn 2 - Superscope

Superscope attempts to stop the snipers from dealing any damage and takes the fight to them. Cobrastike countershoots them in his turn


Turn 2 - Cobrastrike

Not happy with his crusader's paint job, the assault terminators inside along with commander sicarras say hello to their chaos counterparts


Turn 3 - Scerri

Scerri sends the remains of his troops in his rhino to counter the terminators in a round of shooting.


Turn 3 - Superscope

Superscope decided that time is better spent elsewhere and borrowed a tank's firepower to quickly end the snipers along his flank


Turn 3 - Cobrastrike

Cobrastrike moves his assault terminators to catch the chaos land raider...

While his commander has fun with the chaos space marines

Oh... they DID catch Scerri's land raider


Turn 4 - Scerri

Abaddon the despoiler moves towards Superscope's tanks alone with a glint of madness in his eyes


Turn 4 - Superscope

Superscope decided that overkill is the best option and aims his entire armor division to destory abaddon.

After a massive barrage of leman russ battlecannon shots, lascannon shots and heavy bolter shots, abaddon comes out unscrached.


Turn 4 - Cobrastrike

Not wanting to be left out, Cobrastrikes commander and landraider approches superscope's deployment


Turn 5 - Scerri

Abaddon reaches the tanks while screaming "Hello boys"

Followed promply by...


Turn 5 - Superscope

Superscope attempts a shot from his tank cannons, only to shoot himself in the groin


Turn 5 - Cobrastrike

Cobrastrike mauls any fleeting hope of victory for superscope

Cobrastrike moves his troops in direct contant with the objective

His assault terminators managed to break the cursed land raider's treads, removing it's ability to move



Turn 6 - Scerri

Scerri moves his defiler towards the land raider crusader

Scerri moves the remains of the second chaos space marine sqaud with his rhino (a sneaky move he did last turn, didn't even notice) and attempts to fight off the space marines

Abaddon finds another tank to play with

Sadly he played way too rough

The defiler "defiles" the land raider crusader and breaks it tracks

Chaos bash their imperial counterparts off the objective


Turn 6 - Superscope

Having few options, superscope's techpriests charge abaddon for vengence against the damage he has tolled on the tanks, only to get sweeped aside


Turn 6 - Cobrastrike

Cobrastrike removes the rest of superscope's troops

Assault terminators keep bashing away at the chaos land raider, still failing to deal any damage




And with that, the game ended there, following a 2 for the game length roll. Scerri was the winner with 3 chaos space marines hugging the objective


Scerri rewards his objective holder's champion with a icon of the chaos gods


While he rewards his defiler with 2 icons ;p

Was a bloody awesome game with lots of laughs. That shot that scattered onto my crouch.. the others made me do a wound roll ):

That defiler was pretty much the star of the show, trashing my IG infantry and mauling a land raider at the end ;p

Gotta get me some of that scenery!

But seriously, sounds like a fun game. Don't mind my above statement, just my sense of humour.

how the heck do you get abadon a defiler terminators a land raider and 2 squads of choas marienes in a 1000 point game

(and if i missed something im going to use that list as i have all those models)

oh yer we made superscope take that an armour save for the crouch shot and he failed it bad lol he rolled a 1 hahahahahaha take that superscope for killing me scout with a tank

ok i just picked something up with the title superscope, i dont know if we can realy call our games simple lol there alsmost complicated, or confusing but a hell of alot of fun any how lol

Ive tried three-way games. We takes hours messing around with triangles.

We Make a big-ass triangle, cut the very tips off & then line of each snipped tip with a deployement line, basically making three Trapezium shaped deployement zones (Although technically, they'd have to be pointed on the long edge, with the point closer to the middle, to be properly accurate with 24" and everything). Needly to say, its a pain.

Awesome terrain, I see it was played on a Tzneetch world of change.

Amazingly cracker deflier.

Scary abadon charging the ranks, ive had that done to me with a broodlord. I got bent over its knee/somthing.

That was cool game. Great.

Me and my friends tried a 3-way game but they just get too confusing, mainly why games workshop haven't made rules for them =D But it looked like a really funny game, especially when abbadon just annihalates the tanks. Loved the reward of snacks at the end to the victors, made me laugh! And tell the defiler to go easy on them otherwise he'll end up all fat like nurgle snacks for the snack god!!!

awesome batrep with great pics. my friend doesnt like 3 way battles cuz he says that it promotes ganging up on 1 player (when we played it was SOB, my blood angels and his orks. if you put the SOB and BA together you would have prolly 2/3 or 1/2 the models he did and then he proceeded to charge both our bases and complain about us ganaging up on him even tho he won.) i like the concept of the 3 way battle (execpt for random turn order.) what did you guys think?

I played a 3 way battle and i did get ganged up on, i barely made it through 3 turns! If there were certain rules about 3-way battles I would be enticed to play them more, but for now, the painful memories remain...

The defiler-defiling-land raider is probably one of the funniest 40k pics i've seen. reminds me of the gifs with the AT-AT's...

Good tip with 3 way battles.... don't do a hitler move (Attack both your enemies at once... it only ends in failure)

That was before i realized that battle cannons are ordince weapons

But yea... abaddon is one crazy guy to fight... A str 8 deamon weapon on AV 10 rear armor (upto 11 attacks by the way :S) WILL mess up any tank
