Feasting on the souls of unworthy opponents

What happens if I block off my enemy's deployment zone? If I line models up against their rear table edge (maintaining coherency) such that there is no way for them to deploy onto the table? Can tanks tankshock onto the table as a deployment move? Can skimmers fly over me onto the table as a deployment move?

Situations where this comes into play:

Dawn of war: If I go first, deploy a vehicle at the 24" line and my opponent stays in reserve...I can scoot forward, deploy out and start spreading on their lines...(weaker scenario, ignore the flaws =p )

Tau use a positional relay to control their deployments to 1 unit per turn trying to do turn 5 magic. Lets presume that by turn 3 I can line the enemy deployment zone with models and kill the tau commander as well, taking away the positional relay. Now, in answer to the above questions?

Yup, discussed to death. The rules actually have no rules on what to do if you cannot arrive from reserve.

You go home early, having won the game, unless they can deep strike, outflank or tank charge.

There are a few things to hint at. I have seen this done in various ways... (bikes, infiltrating etc etc.)

In reference you can look at what happens when:

Necron warriors kept in a portal cant arrive.
Dark eldar units cant come out of the webway portal.

Also see the Adepticon Faq... It is a messed up rules crunch has been discussed at large.

My oppinion, dont be a jerk and base your strategy arround that rule- black hole.
