Hey all, I have recently started a new army, Emperors Children
loving the paint scheme. also have a considerable Black Templars army, quite a lot painted, not aswell as the Emps Children though, so i have to work on them a bit more!!

Looks really nice, and you've pulled off the pink very well-pink is almost as much of a pain as yellow to paint. The basing is very nice as well. I'll be watching this one!

Cheers Freaky, yeah, im pleased with the punk, im used to just painting black templars, so having actually paint a colour and try and make it solid was a bit daunting, but im really enjoying painting these guys so far!

Cool work on the pink. I got a mate going Emperor's Children cept hes going pre-heresy colours cause he hates the pink. But you do a good job of it!

Painting is great like the rest of your guys, are you gonna have Lucius in your army?

Eventually, im not quite at that level in my painting skills to give him a go, but what would an Emperors Children army be without Lucius, or whichever body he has stolen no!!

How did you paint the pink?

Very nice paintjob. Crisp, clean, and very clear.

I would like to know how you do your pink as well, if you were so inclined .

@EzeKK - lots of layers of pink, though to be honest, the pink I use comes up bright on the first layer, so only do a few.

I really like the pink and black, it's very striking. It appears you highlight the black, but not the pink. Am I just not seeing it? That's the only suggestion I'd make.

Mastiff you would be correct, ATM I have no lighter pink, and I'm no good at mixin paint to make a lighter colour, so until I can find a lighter pink, it remains unhighlighted!

The pink is once again complimented - by me , I can tell you how you want to make your snow bases in a couple of easy steps:

1. Paint the base white
2. Put on any rocks or stuff on the base with super glue
3. Cover the base in white PVA or tacky glue
4. Put baking soda/powder on the base, makes a VERY good immitation of snow.
5. Add some flock or static grass in random areas to give some veriety to those bases

Trust me, I know how to make snow bases, I play ice world orks, but also THE PURGE.

@condai: I shall give that a go for the bases, mine did always trn out a bit....meh!!
