Subject: DA BRAINBOYZ - the new story

I was thinking why flicking through a codex in GW and i had an idea < Just like that lol!
DA BRAINBOYZ
DA BRAINBOYZ were said to be the lost tribe of the orks, a very intelligent tribe at that. They were said to have been killed off by the less intellegent servants, orks and gretchins, that they bred to protect them. Except the servants got a strong survival instinct and wiped out the brainboyz. So people (orks) thought. However, on a little island close to Gogrok Island, called Tekrok Isle, a group of six brainboyz lived where they have managed to make themselves well protected by sheer numbers. The ones with spare teeth and that could afford it bought armour and a proper weapon so they did not need bigger numbers with them. Unlike the little boyz who have to earn their teeth by going to battle and finding them. One thing's for sure you can tell when they are about, you will see lab coats all around you! They have made technology (TEKNOLOGEE to da brainboyz) that is unimaginably advanaced, compared to a modern day orks' technology, including Gyro physics and Hover vehicles. One of their biggest achievements is finding the cell that they need to grow to the size of an ork! So they are now a decent size
Starting the project soon. Will start blog once project started
C&C please

Honestly I bet GS might be the way. BUT if you try and go the white tshirt route, get a bowl of elmers glue and water it down a little bit. Use a test mini and then practice forming the "lab coat" on a mini. That way when you get the fabric to start drying a little bit, you should be able to mold it the way you want it

The Old Ones of Warhammer 40,000 history are possibly an ancient species of nearly immortal, cold-blooded beings, who were probably the first race in the galaxy to have evolved sentience (though it should be noted that the C'tan predate the Old Ones, but the C'tan didn't partake in the affairs of the Galaxy until the Necrontyr gave them physical bodies just before the War in Heaven). A supposedly benevolent and gentle race, they appear to have wished to nurture the younger races and protect them from the C'tan. It is possible that the Old Ones are the same Old Ones that the Lizardmen worship in Warhammer Fantasy, as in the Lizardmen army book it states that the Old Ones came from the stars and found the Known World, then proceeded to terraform it and create races like the High Elves and Dwarfs to live on it. The Old Ones were inherently patient as a race, and before attempting to explore the galaxy they made an extensive study of astronomy, which led them to discover the Immaterium. At the time, the Immaterium was as yet unaffected by the psychic emissions of other intelligent races, and so it was a calm and steady realm. The Old Ones were able to exploit the Immaterium, allowing them to travel across the galaxy at a whim without the need of starships.
In their travels, the Old Ones seeded many worlds with life, and encouraged the development of indigenous animal and intelligent life on many more. Earth is believed to have been seeded in this way as the Old Ones probably first seeded it with primitive, single-celled lifeforms.
- Wikipedia, Old Ones.
Then there is this little snack-
In the fictional universe of Warhammer 40,000, the Slann were a reptilian or amphibian species who were servants of the Old Ones (although some sources state that they in fact are the Old Ones) not unlike the Lizardmen of Warhammer Fantasy. The Slann are reputed to have created some of the major races in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, the most notable of which are the Orks (who are hinted to be referring to them as the Brainboyz, though the most recent publication of the Ork codex has implied that the snotling fulfilled this role) and Eldar (who are the only race that keeps records from the age) who were created with their psychic abilities to take part in the war between the Necron and the Old Ones in which they were all but wiped out by the C'tan and the Enslaver plague. The Human race was a race for which basic evolution was allowed to continue without the guidance of the Old Ones.
There were five generations of Slann spawned by the Old Ones. The Slann of the first generation have all died off, many likely killed in the war between the Old Ones and the Necrontyr. This is very similar to the story of the Slann race in Warhammer Fantasy.- Wikipedia- Slann
Of course I wouldn't expect you younglings to know about this. I've been playing for a minute or two.

The brainboys/snotling origin story is old, it's from 1st edition if Wikipedia is to be believed, so the snotlings aren't a new development.
Also, as far as I know the Old Ones created "krork", which could be orks, brainboys, all of the greenskins, or another hardy/green race entirely. (The later seems kind of unlikely, as they're mentioned a lot for something that's never been relevent.)

Gork & Mork are the Ork godz of aggresion & cunning and cunning & aggresion, created IIRC by the amount of raw orkish physcic energy
The "Old ones/Brain boyz" were the ancient race that created the Orkz.

It's just an internet theory. I don't actually know of any evidence for it, considering Gork and Mork act nothing like the Old Ones, and I've never heard of them being warp entities. Also, The Ork character traits have a reflection in the immaterial dimension of the Warp just like the traits and emotions of Humanity and the Eldar
in the current codex seems to rule it out.

In the realy old fluff the Brainboyz were the intelagent master race of the greenskins, but the mushrooms that grew on thier home planet died out and they then became the snotlings.
Acording to the new fluff however (takeing this from the Necron rule book) all the greenskins (Orks, gretchin, snotlings ans well as squigs) were created by the Krork, a race created (not long after the Eldar) in the Old ones war with the C'tan. The Krork, for whatever reson, were ding out and they wanted their creations to continue on living without them. to make sure that they would survive they introduced the racial memory with all thier technology. Unforchanutly most orcs can barly comprihend this so the Mech gene was introduced who would be inteligent anuff to use some of the Krork's tech.
