Got no pics yet (only assembled two Marksmen thus far) but I am currently raising a Reiklander Warband, comprised from a box of Empire Archers and Empire Infantry.

Once I've settled on a scheme I'll let you know!

I myself haven't got a warband.
Always wanted one though.

Check out Tom's boring Mordheim thread for some cool stuff:

I'm tinkering away on a Marienburger warband for a campaign somewhere in August but a friend of mine has been involved in a rather lengthy campaign that really made her come back for more every time.

Mordheim is my fav GW specialty game, not entirely sure why, it could be the campaign style of game it favours. I kinda went nuts and bought most of the warbands, but my favs have been dwarves and skaven.

Mordheim is a great small scale skirmish game, the fact you only have about 16 models for most warbands means you can convert and make them all great and they still get noticed unlike large armies.

or lots of information try:
http://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/index.htm

Great site for modeling, scenery building and rules questions.

Another great thing about mordheim is the campaigns and how many different places peopel have made upf or them, such as empire in flames, Boarder town burning, and man yothers. so you get a variety of locations to fight across.

I've made Reiklanders as my warband which you can see below:

If you want i can throw up some pictures of the scenery (Which you can make very quickly and easily... and cheaply!! managed to do 10 good sized pieces of terrain for £10 aka £1 a bit. but that was built & materials not painted.

I've got a sisters of sigmar warband. Hoenstly two box sets of most things is all you need as it can be impossible to WYSIWYG everything, and that will give you enough models of said faction to do whatever you want. The rules are free to download if you didn't know.

Back before the rules were free, I made a pirate warband - complete with peg legs, hook hands, and a parrot on the captain's shoulder. Never took any pictures, though

I currently have a skaven warband (unpainted except my heroes) and I now need to buy a rat ogre since I just made enough cash to hire one...17 models and counting.

Unfortunately no pics, and we also seem to be taking an unscheduled break since we had a recent influx of new 40kers.

Great game though, definately 1 of my favourites from GW.

I think I'm going to start a Witch Hunter warband.

Should be fun.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

I love Mordheim. My warband is Orcs and Goblins. You can see the pics on my old website.

I'll toss one pic in here because Blodge, Lenny, Squiggy, and George the Squig are favorites of mine:

My wife and daughter love the game too. Skirmish scale with a campaign setting and storyline appeal to them as does the fun in decorating our table. Lots of uses for the neat terrain bits from Reaper, Fenryll, Megaminis, Dwarven Forge, etc. You can play on a 4x4' folding (card) table which tucks neatly out of the way in our house. It's also nice that GW isn't constantly changing the rules and tossing out army books or codexes every other month.

Um, shouldn't the MODs move this thread to the Skirmish Scale area of Dakka?

The secret to painting a really big army is to keep at it. You can't reach your destination if you never take any steps.

I build IG...lots and lots of IG.

Witch Hunters are SO much fun. Screaming, fire, pilgrim hats, persecution, the whole Warhammer feel in one little gang.

Mordheim is great fun- but it's best played as part of a league, not just one-off games. Advancement is the funnest part of the game, and can make for some wicked combos.

Also, don't rely too much on hired help. Build your gang rather than paying mercenaries whenever you can.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!
