Couple of questions that I need to clarify...
1. Vehicles can move 6" and shoot 1 main + all defensive, or 12" and none. Fast vehicles can move 12" and shoot....whatever? Do passengers follow the same ruling? If my Ork trukk goes 12" can my passengers fire because I'm fast and open topped? The rule says, "Models inside may not fire if the vehicle has moved at cruising speed" and then in the fast vehicle section explains that firing from fast vehicles is bumped down a step from firing like a normal vehicle. IE, combat speed gets to fire all weapons, cruising speed gets to fire 1+ defensive. Would that let the embarked unit follow the same principles? It wouldn't make sense if a fast transport moves 12" and the unit inside can disembark and fire, but not stay inside and fire.
2. If a vehicle moves combat speed, you need 4+ to hit it in CC. If it moves cruising speed you need 6+ to hit in CC. IE, 6" or less, and 7"+ If I have red paint, and I move 7", then what? 4+ or 6+?
3. Monstrous creatures and attacking a vehicle. They get STR+2d6? If a monstrous creature attacks a trukk of mine (Demon prince for example) and gets 4 hits, he rolls 4 sets of 2D6 and adds each to strength to see whether they penetrate or not?

1. I was under the impression that even when you moved at cruising speed that you could fire normally. As I understood it you only can't fire from a transport if you move all out. That's a clarification that I need. So I won't answer this one. 2. Your still moving at combat speed, you just get an extra inch so 4+ 3. He would roll 4 times to penetrate, getting 2d6 each time. Meaning your trukk goes by by

No, it only applies to the vehicle, not the passengers. Any Vehicle moving more than 6" = No Passengers firing. 2. If a vehicle moves combat speed, you need 4+ to hit it in CC. You ignore the 1" for all intents and Purposes. You still count as moving at Combat Speed at 7", so you would be hit on a 4+. A Trukk with RPJ has to move 8" to be hit on 6's 3. Monstrous creatures and attacking a vehicle. They get STR+2d6?

1. Passengers follow there own rules which aren't changed. So you can't fire from a cruising or flat out vehicle.
2. Red paint gives you an extra inch of movement which isn't counted. You ether move at Combat speed (+1) or Cruising speed (+1)
3. Each time you try to penetrate the armour is separate so 4x 2D6 ... Most people like to do this one at a time. Automatically Appended Next Post: should never have check the rules ^_^

No, the rule says you move more than Combat Speed (6" normal, 7" for RPJ, 12" on a road, 13" for RPJ and a Road) passengers cannot fire at all with any weapons whatsoever.

I think the only way passengers can fire if a vehicle moved 12 is if its a vehicle and it moved on a road at combat speed which normally is 6inches.
That's it; although I am unsure of that one.

Actually, drones can still fire...they're weapon mounts (presuming you have the thingie that lets you fire as if you were as a fast vehicle). Its the firewarriors inside that can't.
Drones mounted on a devilfish aren't anything special until they detach and gain autonomy, become a unit, and generate a potential killpoint.

Fire Warriors cannot fire because there are no fire Points. The Drones can fire at Cruising Speed only if you have the Upgrade to make it fire as a fast vehicle.

Drones my fire "In Addition to any other weapons that would normally be permitted to fire." So if you can fire at least 1 Weapon (Moved Combat Speed, Cruising Speed with the Upgrade), you can fire the drones as well. If you cannot fire any weapons (Shaken/Stunned), they cannot be fired " in Addition to weapons that would normally be permitted to fire", because there are no Weapons permitted to fire.
