Um so can an ork nob have a shoota and PK? The FAQ didn't really say one way or another.

Ork FAQ answers this one. Short answer is no.

Well that's kinda sad. That means I can only get 52 shoota shots from my 30 boyz (nob plus 3 big shootas) instead of 54.

Given that your ballistic skill is 2, that means that statistically you're only going to get 17 hits instead of...17. If you math it out, there's no change. =p

Then again, without seeing the rest of your army list, I can't really comment on your strategies here.
