Feasting on the souls of unworthy opponents

When assaulting a unit you do closest to closest. IE, the closest model draws a straight line towards the nearest enemy, and goes for it.

If I assault a vehicle, I have to make a beeline for it in a straight line...but does that specify where against the hull of it I have to stand? Do I have to hit the point on the hull closest to me and in a direct line? Or can I hit it anywhere on the hull within range? Because I'm still moving to hit the closest model....

I'm curious.

You move the closest model the shortest distance. After that, you can put the rest of the models wherever you want so long as they follow the rules for moving Assaulting Models.

Not that it matters, you always hit rear anyway.

I cared because he had one vehicle right behind the other. I wasn't comfortable enough with the range to declare an assault on the rear vehicle, so I wanted to multi-assault, but the nob leading my boyz is the only one who could have made range to get to the rear vehicle...if I could move along the hull.
