Holy crap, they look like actual combatants in realistic clothing and armor.

I wonder if this will be the most annoying army to fight...ever.

2012- stopped caring
Nova Open 2011- Orks 8th Seed---(I see a trend)
Adepticon 2011- Mike H. Orks 8th Seed (This was the WTF list of the Final 16)

Links were a little spazzy for me so I thought I'd repost 'em here.

Mage hunters are expected to function in extreme circumstances, such as surviving hand-to-mouth deep in enemy territory while isolated from friendly support. At home in any environment, they learn to scavenge and improvise, and to kill without hesitation. Their first priority is always the elimination of enemy arcanists and mechanikal constructs—which they believe harm Scyrah.

Veteran teams led by senior commanders are well versed in advanced Retribution techniques. Slipping past the outer defenses of an enemy base, they fire bolts through intervening walls to kill without a trace. Working alongside other soldiers in the Retribution military, these teams apply similar methods to erase vital targets before they can even join battle.

Yes. Crossbows in the Iron Kingdoms. Very realistic.

You know those things are going to be like magic bows.

I like them.

How do they scale next to Gw models? I always thought the Warmachine models were a bit bigger than Gw ones.

If not, yay for nice shades!

It seems to me they're doing better with lightly armored figures, the bearded gunblade warcaster was a lot better sculpt than Vyros, for example.

There's some similarity, though of course these guys aren't wearing the hides of their slain enemies. And are better sculpted overall, the Manflayers suffered horribly from having absolutely massive swords compared to their elven physiques.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

Yep these are spiff. I think they had models like this in mind when they chose their White Ceramic Armor, Teal Cloth scheme. Looks nice when the majority of the model is cloth, and poop when 99% of the model is Ceramic armor.

Incredible sculpts. Certainly the best Retribution models I've seen so far. But the thought of an entire unit of Eirysses gives me the night terrors.

Based on the descriptions and product codes:

The Mage Hunters look like a metal box of 6 since each model is unique. It'll be
a unit that snipes, advance deploys and is distinctly anti-warjack/warcaster.

The Soulless and the Mage Hunter commanders are BOTH unit attachments. However, it
isn't clear what the Soulless is a unit attachment for.

perhaps the soulless isnt' an attachment, but instead a solo that has some effect if a spell goes off in a certain range.
i mean, its a faction that hates magic, so i could sorta see it nullifying a spell and taking damage equal to the focus cost or somesuch.

edit- i just bothered to look closer at the page and see it says unit attachment

since i needed to edit, i figured i'd post the pic of another model they put up

The Soulless is an attachment. It says so right on the gallery page.

The Magister is pretty sweet too.

Those powerfist-esque gloves are, to put it simply, combination force weapon and powerfist. He can use it to psychically effect stuff or bash things in. Excellent.
