1850pts exactly

Thinking of making all combies Meltas.

Is it true that you can declare what your combis aref before each battle in a tournament or do they need to be set the same for every match?

Let me know what you guys think.

I don't know about combi-weapons, but I would assume they would be set before a match. As to how I would use them, add flamers to the meltas and meltas to the flamers, it may seem like wasted shots but against hordes having a flamer in a squad can mean keep a squad. On the Rhinos they should always be combi-meltas.

As far as being a hard list, it looks really nice without being Lash + Oblit spam. Your PM's are going to be hard to kill, but be wary mechanized guard and their ability to pop Rhinos with multi-lasers and Vendettas at range, or use suiced CCS to open you up and shoot you down.

I'd expect to declare the weapon type before each game if the entry in the codex says 'combi-weapon' and not explicitly 'combi-melta', etc.

That would make sense by RAW.

Ask your TO about combi-weapons, they may see it differently and you dont want to get penalised for cheating because you didnt ask.

You need some more oblits. 6 is the minumum you should be taking at 1850pts, and I would probably go for 8. Without them you cant deal with tanks or hordes at range. Most armies have stuff that can really screw up your guys at range, or be transporting things that are nasty, so you need to be able to deal with them in the first couple of tunrs, and 3 oblits just wont cut it.

Drop one of the PM squads to make points for this. While fantactic at not dying, plague marines dont really kill stuff very well, so you need some things to do more damage. Your princes are good but more oblits will really make the list shine.

If we were to play each other in a tournament, not only would I table you, I would murder you, your family, every woman you ever loved and burn down your house. I mean, what's the point in winning if you allow people that don't take the game seriously to live?

Hmm I was considering dropping all the combies off the rhinos and 2 of the plasma marines for another oblit. But against long ranged firepower I was considering DSing the oblits right into muliti melta range.

The NM are protected by Rhinos that eventually last very long in the new edition.
I'd drop the footslogging NM squad and add some more Obliterators.
