Why would you have to rebase? There is no rule requiring you to rebase your models to the whatever the current line of models happen to use. Main rulebook basically says they have to be on what they came with. My RT-era heavy weapons are on the 25mm bases they came with. In fact, I'd have to get opponent's permission to place them on anything else. Now that the heavy weapon team is a single two-wound model, the "loaders" have been reassigned as lasgunners in squads. Basically, any squad with a heavy weapon is only nine models.

Exactly, they're now a single model. So Gwar, are you saying that ANY multi-wound model has to have some special base or something? I don't think that's what you're saying but what precisely do you mean by "represent a Single model with 2 wounds"?

Cause there are many multi-wound models out there on 25mm bases that have nothing extra to show they are a multi-wound model. Older IG Heavy Weapon models are now just one more. If they take a wound, I put a wound marker on them, just like any other multi-wound model. If I assign a ST6 or higher wound to them and they fail any appropriate saves, they die to Instant Death, just like any other multi-wound model. So what is different about IG heavy weapons teams, a single model with two wounds, that requires something to "represent" their 2 wounds?
