Convenient. The COD sprue already exists, right? And it looks like the bastion sprue already exists as well.

Can someone who owns these kits confirm that?

Those sprues to exist in the kits, they are just selling them separate now. If I'm wrong though, someone do correct me.

Is the bastion compatible with the CoD sprues? Obviously anything is compatible with enough glue but do they play well together?

Doesn't look like the upgrade sprue has any wall sections? You'd still need to buy 3 bastions for that if that's the case.

Yeah, but what I was thinking was this:

Two Imperial Strongpoints. Effectively 4 Bastions.

Take two of the base levels, make them a two by two square. One double tower, two single towers, one base level.

Then two seperate base level only bunkers. The only thing missing is two "roofs" for the tri level or the two bunkers. This handles that problem.

That the tri level would be sick. I'm thinking a double tall, the two single tall levels side by side for a double wide area, and then the base level one. I'm so psyched for these sets.

The CoD floor are useful, the bastion sprue is not.

They are selling the wrong bitz. what peole need extra are not roofs but walls.

As it happens you can generate this sprue by buying an extra bastion and having one double hight tower in your collection, you get a decent trade for the total price. Besides what do you want the bastion sprue for anyway? Most of the items are options you cannot all fit on an existing bastion.

Most likely because of the lascannon emplacement and the improved comms tower.

Yeah, but two bastions can make a four square base and for THAT you need extra roofs, not extra walls.

The bastion upgrade sprue is a nice way to finish a scratch built bunker.
