Instead of a Nob, one mob of boyz may be led by:
Boss Dakkarunt . . . . . . . ? points

Da Ganksta Boyz
The boyz led by Boss Dakkarunt are equipped with two sluggas, which fire as a twin-linked slugga.
As these orks are very eager to use their pistols, they count as having 2 close combat weapons.
The boyz may still exchange their sluggas for big shootas or rokkit launchas as normal. They no longer
gain the bonus close combat attack.
The unit may be upgraded to 'ard boyz as normal, in which case Boss Dakkarunt is also upgraded to 'eavy armour
Boss' Special
Boss Dakkarunt is armed with 2 weapons, a storm bolter acquired when he killed the Ultramarine
Captain holding it, and an orkish pistol of unknown design. They fire with the following profile, and
count as 2 close combat weapons.
Boss' Special Range: 12" Str: 4 AP: 5 Assault 4, Twin-linked
I got a box of regular orks yesterday, and decided to assemble one of them with 2 pistols, mainly because it looked more bad-ass.
Do you think this would be balanced, and if so, at what point value?

I'm going to agree with Che here, but suggest that you give Dakkarunt A) a slightly better name (No ork's gonna follow anybody named "runt"  ) and B) a slightly better statline. Like, Initiative 4 or something.
As it is, (and even with that suggestion) he'd be the cheapest and weakest ork SC, which makes sense for a normal boy SC.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it. |

Ah, very true. +20 to a regular Nob would be my guess. The idea of +1 BS makes sense to me, so possibly +20 for the Boss, plus +2 per Boy.

What I would do is give him an attack squig (+1 attack), and give him BS 3 and price him at about 55.
He's a nob, so 20 points, an attack squig would be 15 points. We'll say his weapon is equivalent to 2 shootas, (lower range, more shots,) 10 points. Throw a few small upgrades, and you've got the rest of the cost.
(which is, conveniently, exactly 15 points over Che's suggestion, and as I mentioned, an attack squig is 15 points.)
I suggest the attack squig mainly for modeling purposes. You'd have an ork with guns akimbo, and his slavering squig at his feet.

Certantly leave him a super Nob (like Snikrot or similar) but don't increase the price of the boys, cause no other 'Nob' Character does. He isn't realy very powerful if you think about it he's just fun. I say +15 pts to a normal nob and no other costs) if you leave the current stats). Or you can make him more unique and opposed to being just quirky, like giving his Gangsta Boys unit +1 BS which would make him much more expensive (like +40 to a normal nob) but yet again leave the cost on him, not adding it to the rest of the boys.

Uh...this makes little sense to me. A unit with the minimum amount of Boyz would have the same cost for the Boss as the maximum amount?? Make the cost per Boy, an upgrade to represent more Boyz costing more, being more specialized, etc. as opposed to the Boss.
