I just got my planetstrike white dwarf, and it says that attacking units with Deep Strike that Deep Strike in Planetstrike can charge the turn they come in. This sounds great for Khornate Daemon attackers. Opinions?

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.

You could end the game before it starts. If you assault on the deepstrike with 3 bloodthirsters and tons of bloodcrushers and bloodletters, you will ruin your opponents day.

Does Planetstrike talk about Daemons on the defensive? Just seems really odd if they have to be Summoned when they're defending.

"Commander, we're ready to drop on the completely empty and unoccupied enemy fortifications."

It's good. Played a Planetstrike game yesterday with my group...2 Daemons players on one side, vs the others.

Actually, we played two games. First game, they had three bastions, one in each of opposite corners, and one in the middle. Daemons were the attackers.

We called the game after our first turn...actually, after our first shooting phase, when after run rolls and pavane it became blisteringly clear that pretty much every enemy unit was going to get assaulted.

Playing a second game, they deployed much differently, placing four bastions this time. Three were lined up on a short table edge, with one in the center of the table. They also essentially managed to fill up most of the space on one half of the table, forcing us to deploy away from them.

They ended up winning that one, because by the time we got through the second or third defensive line, we just didn't have enough units to win.
