1 Lord with Veil and ResOrb
3 squads of 15 Warriors
1 squad of 20 Warriors
2 squads of 5 Destroyers
2 Monoliths
2 Tomb Spiders
2250
Thinking about adding more warriors or a destroyer lord with resorb
I forgot my codex at home, can someone tell me how much a destroyer lord with resorb will cost?

its either add in a destroyer lord, or add another 15 man squad of warriors, and drop 2 off of the 20 man squad

Run 3 Monoliths.....

After that, Destroyers, Immortals, minimum troops. With the heavy mech lists out there now, with lots of Melta, Monoliths got stronger against shooting. Though with 5th, they are weaker in hth, but Big D can usually handle that.

Especially in an Ard Boyz list, you really need to think about adding these things. They make armies like Daemons a lot less viable.

Hope that helps....

Cut your troops to minimum sizes, they are a liability.

More Destroyers, Immortals, Monoliths and Big D is a must.

Hmm, this looks familiar. In fact, I think I saw you playing Mike with it on Monday Night at ALL fun and Games. I think I even lent you my monolith for a few turns.

Anyway, on to your list. Adding more stuff would be a great idea, but your points value is actually 2450, not 2250. So, all you really have the points for is a couple of tweaks here and there.

The only thing that jumps out at me about this list is it weakness against Close combat. Yes, you have alot of firepower, but some armies can take it in the face and still come get you. You have monoliths, but they cant protect you form a sweeping advance. Also, you need a plan against a totally mechanized army. I feel like you will struggle with that the most. But hey, who doesn't?

Well he did say hes playing necrons so weakness vs CC is pretty much a given

Unfortunately you only have one option with necrons and thats monoliths, ctan and destroyers.. Max those as others said

The problem is, I have 2 immortals. Not 2 squads, but 2 immortals.
Will scarabs help me any?

Automatically Appended Next Post:
So after some rework - i have 5 squads of warriors, at 10 a piece
destroyer lord with the res orb and invul save
necron lord with veil and resorb
2 liths
1 tomb spider
2 squads of 5 destroyers
and 10 scarabs....

Scarabs aren't a bad choice really, turbo boost with +1 to cover and multiple wounds gives them decent survivability, and with disruption fields and their high number of attacks they can take out armor just by glancing it to death.
From the few times I've used them I'd say that you're better off trying to hunt heavy armor or surprise weak/cut off units with them than actually throwing them into a serious combat though.

Like the others said though: fewer warriors, get the Deceiver, 3 'liths to form a wall, and lots of destroyers. That's your best bet.

WIth Warriors being the bulk of your force, I feel like you really lack the punch necessary to handle a lot of armies.

I would consider dropping the tomb spider and/or the second lord (destroyer body) for some immortals, but I do not have the models right now.
