Kinda sad to collectively bash someone who isn't even able to defend himself since yakface banned him for speaking his mind.

Stelek is plenty capable of defending himself. He has his own blog, after all.

The curious thing is that Deadshane1 seems to be asking for permission to defend himself from attacks on another website.

Well then - i'd assume that Deadshane CAN'T continue on - as that would be seen as 'bashing' another site without them being able to speak up for themselves.

1. It can't be a "sad commentary on Dakka" if no one ing reports the thread.

2. Lets leave off the discussion concerning Stelek. he has his own blog, but unless he's posting as someone else he can't defend himself here. Therefor that part fo the discussion must cease.

3. If talking about other boards in general-meh. Fair criticism potentially but we're not here to MOD detailed threads attacking other boards. I'd note many of us are indeed on multiple boards in one fashion or another.

The moderators consistently uphold the principle that current and ex-members may not be attacked. If you genuinely believe what you contend, I don't understand why you would remain an active member of such a forum.

And yes, it is against forum rules to slag off other sites.

OT note but if you have criticisms that can be used to improve this board then I direct you to the Nuts and Bolts section down at the bottom.

Beleive me, I've thought about it as I love to write...I just dont know if I've got enough to say in order to fill a blog and make it interesting. BTW...if my dirty laundry doesnt interest you...noones forcing you to read threads that I start up.

As far as Stelek not being able to defend himself here, well, apparently the same can be said about Stelek's blog. Today I encountered my 4th disallowed post on his blog...and without even "raising my voice" but speaking on a mild conversation level.

Yesthetruthhurts has quite the Ironic name, for when the truth DOES hurt...the post will never make it public.
