I started playing recently and discovered this forum even more recently. A long time a go a friend of mine started playing and I'd borrow the marines from his starting box (the equivalent of Assault on Black Reach, though I can't remember what it was called back then) while he would play with the orks. He eventually made a real army, but I didn't have money to spend on it back then. Still, the spark of interest was there.

Now with money to spend (well, some money at least), I decided to enter the 41st millenium witch hunting style, with an army of rigtheous Sisters of Battle, a puritan Inquisitor and Black Templar occasional friends. Being a begginer hobbyist at best, I haven't done much in terms of modelling yet and probably won't do half as good as many of the things I've seen here on Dakka. However, I'm very much a fluff person, being a long time roleplayer, and will be working on various stories about the founding of my SoB minor Order and how they came to work together with one of the Black Templar's fighting companies. It will likely involve witch hunting and you won't be surprised to hear I was strongly inspired by the Black Templar's Vinculus Crusade when I decided what Chapter my army would be allied with (that is, if you've read that story ).

Beside wargaming, I play various compuer game (tried Planetside recently, old game but they never made any other decent MMOFPS) and have been working in an electronics store, selling HD tv's and home theatre systems and let me tell you, if you think they're expensive, it's not the merchant that makes a profit. Except on the cables.

A piece of advice to my fellow wargamers, never ever buy monstercable. All that extra quality only serves one purpose (apart from taking your money off your pockets): to protect against static. It's the same quality as the cheapest cable ever. Unless for some reason you feel like creating an awful lot of friction on your carpet, right next to your cables. Then you might see a differnece.

Also a guy who plays Sistas here, nufing wrong with that. I just had to spice my guard army up. so I got an inquisitor and made them all inducted. And then I saw the sistas. Can one believe in love at first sight?

I've always been interested in playing SoB but never had the time to track down the models (as I used to get most of my models from a second hand wargaming shop and SoB were very rare and comparably expensive).

Either way, they -are- rare and expensive. All metal, no plastic. I'm STILL waiting for some minis after over a month of ordering them. >.>

Vehichles are plastic by the way.

They're SoB if we talk about the same Katherine's Hello Kitty SoB... though she does have that dreadnought with the huge HK face. o_O
And yes I noticed vehicles were plastic, thank you.
Exorcist has metal parts however.
