Boom! Leman Russ Commander

Can they use the same psychic power twice in a turn?

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase. |

yes if they non-shooting attack.

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.
If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in. |

They can't use Lash, so it doesn't matter other powers they can cast.

Have you ever played against the Spawning list? It can be semi-hilarious, particularly against vehicle-less lists like Necrons, Daemons, or Tyranids. 5 or so sorcerors, each making you roll a couple Toughness tests in a turn, quickly means you run out of HQs/Monstrous Creatures.

Tzeentch Sorcerers are one of the best units in the game.
The fact that they can cast 2 powers means that not only can they cast Warptime in the beginning of the turn to re-roll hits and misses in the assault phase to become a powerful assault character, but they get to use it in the shooting phase as well. So you can combine it with Winds of Chaos to re-roll all failed rolls to wound to put a hurt on almost any squad. You can also use it with Doombolt and Bolt of Change, but WoC is where you will get the most bang for your buck.

Seconding the Warpwind sorceror. It's less a multipurpose support spell that lets everything else kill better, but a spell that kills efficiently on it's own.
Now Ahriman, though fairly overcosted, is pretty funny as a spawner. He can do it 3 times a turn.
Janthkin where are you getting 5 sorcerors from? Thousand Sons aspiring Champions?
|
Dakka. You need more of it. No exceptions.
You ask me for an evil hamburger. I hand you a raccoon.-Captain Gordino
What are you talking about? They're Space Marines, which are heroic. They need to be able to do all the heroic stuff. They fight aliens and don't afraid of anything. -Orkeosarus

THe only problem for me is that they are so expensive. 60 points before spells right? Thats pretty steep.

But the look on your opponent's face when you spawn every unit they have = priceless.

Sadly a Demon Prince with the same layout is the same cost. Might as well skip the sorcerer on the HQ slots and take a DP.
