Not a lot there yet, but with a bit of luck we might see some cool stuff in there.

Even though I've got the colected editions, I'd like to see some of the Index Astartes articles and similar on there.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all

Ah ! The new archive blows compared to the old one. The old one had a handy search function which let me use the site to find the relevant article I had hidden somewhere in my collection.

Cool, be nice if they would just make each issue a down loadable PDF rather than break it out into individual articles.

Any one else think they are setting up to make WD online only to save on publishing and Shipping costs? Many Mags have done this in the past year.

I'd be down for an online article. It'd save me a trip downtown.

To the darkness I bring fire. To the ignorant I bring faith. Those who welcome these gifts may live, but I will visit naught but death and eternal damnation on those who refuse them.

I'd like them to put up the old Warhammer Quest articles. That would be awesome.

I think it's a step in the right direction, finally restoring a lot of those old hobby articles that made the site ACTUALLY useful (besides being a giant store).

Although, a lot of those articles are really just giant advertisements. :(

They could do that in the US.

In the UK, physical newsstand shelf presence is an important marketing tool, like their high street retail shops.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

LOL I like this quote:

"To make sure his Veteran squad had a hardened, grizzled look; ...."

Read as, "looks just like every other Veteran squad, not particularly hard nor grizzled."

It would definitely go a long ways to assuage the angst of all the people who don't want to pay exorbitant prices for a 30-50 page advert.

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.

Kudos to gareth for an awesome looking scenery piece.
I guess we will see how good this will turn out. The idea behind it is kinda cool though.

Archive is ok, but as I tend to keep hold of recent WDs, not something I really needed. Now if they put on some really old articles, then I'd have a nose for the sake of nostalgia.
