First, I stubbed my toe, my friend spilled Pepsi on my laptop, it explodes and I have to go to the hospital to get 20 stitches thanks to God's
#$^@ slap, shrapnel, or flying computer bits. You can't make this stuff up. I've been typing with my left hand thanks to my right being "temporarily out of service". Top this.

Your laptop exploded? That is some crazy stuff. I am still missing some keys from an accident I had, but my computer didn't get all that angry about it. Sounds like yours had a vendetta, this could be the start of the new world order man .

Mine was equally bad yesterday

crappy day at work horrible commute home. Traffic smooths out near my house and I get passed by a car of 3 girls and the passenger is holding the queen of hearts on the window smiling. I follow them for awhile and notice they are getting big rigs to honk. I pass them and hold up a battery operated clock still in it's original wrapping. Then they pass me and hold up a dollar bill. A few miles later I pass them and hold up a can of Heineken. After that they finally pass me near my exit and the driver held up the nicest surprise of all - boobs.

Made my day a lot nicer.

I can't top an exploding laptop, yikes! But I do feel like Peter from Office Space (Pre-Hypnotism) lately. Everyday seems like the worst day ever until the next day and then that one seems like the worst day ever and on and on...

My day was awesome. Went to work for 2 hours (actually only worked 45 mins) came home, ate lunch, slept for an hour, arranged an apoc game for next week, ate dinner, watch a simpsons DVD, went on dakka.

Overall your day sucked. Sorry and I hope you make a full recovery.

The fat woman on the otherside of my cube wall has gas so bad right now it smells like bigfoot's sack right now and I can not get away. OMFG I just felt the last one through my desk and the pipboy bobblehead just started to bob. Oh the horror!

No need to share personal habits.

I woke up at five to go to clinicals (for school) to bath and clean the wounds of a twenty year old spinabifida, nephrectomy, diabetic patient. I'm twenty as well. The worst part is he has to see me, in my prime, healthy, mobile. He is stuck in a nursing home, with old people. Unable to do many of his ADLs on his own. It's one of the saddest things I've encountered.

I have to go back, for three weeks and be around him as he is my patient now.

What you get to see an example of how much worse your life could be? That's not a bad thing dude, that's a reminder to appreciate what you have.

He needs a caretaker, not a pity pal. If he's a nice guy then be his buddy. Regardless good luck with him, that sounds awful.

I do appreciate what I have. I just hate this for him. He wasn't being an idiot. He didn't smoke too much. He didn't get in a drunk driving accident. Hell, it's not like his diabetes is even his fault. It's because of his immobility and the affects his disorder have had on him. I just hate that he never got a chance to live life like I do.

But I know this job would be depressing at times when I signed on.

Yeah that's too bad. Well, hang in there man and I hope that he is doing well (all things considered).

12 hour shift in the Taxi, and after 50/50 and fuel, making the princely sum of £25, despite having busted a nut?

Would have made more, but some arsehole pinched two of my jobs, taking £7.60 out my sky rocket.

Busy day like, just all my jobs were tiddlers.

Saturday,woke up no hot water to bath.Ate a sub-par cold breakfast and ended up being bored out of my mind for the rest of the day,until 8 pm when our puppy died(at which point I cried like a baby for an hour or three)because she had an epileptic fit.Not as bad as having your computer explode but by my reckoning not a great day either.

I am very aware I have started to rapidly fall ill, feeling dizzy, eyes hurting, aches in my joints and starting to shiver.

7 in my office already have swine flu, I think my time for plague is incoming...

Time to break out the Nurgle pact MGS.

(Seriously though, if it is the dread Swine Fluez, I hope you make a speedy recovery.)



As to myself, nothing too bad, just stressed with my brother living like he is still with his ex who would come and cover him at work when he goofed off.

Working with family, can be brilliant, at other times a pain in the arsh.

This should cheer you up some, or at least cause all the blood to concentrate somewhere other than in your brain for a few minutes.
