Would like some insight been trying to make a well rounded 500 for any occasion. Wouldn't mind other lists being posted with 500 pt value that are effective anfun. This is the list I mostly use for 1 on 1's and up to 4 people FFA.

I don't think its well rounded at all. You're spending 125 points to get a Big mek who is going to grant your foot sloggers a 5+ cover save when you should be getting a 4+ cover save if you're remotely paying attention to the field you're playing on; 75% of terrain is forest or ruins, which is a 4+ cover save.

Also, your Warboss has cybork body for a 5+ invulnerable, but you didn't bother with 'Eavy armor? He can be singled out and definitely deserves at *least* a 4+ armor save or he's going to get nuked. Hard. I think you should drop the big mek with the KFF, drop the two big shootas completely.

Taking a mob of boyz without a nob and a powerklaw makes them incredibly susceptible to being ganked in close combat against terminators and even marines. Especially shoota boyz.

Each HQ goes in a group of the boyz, none of them are stand alone. Figure this saves me a nob with flag and pk since each HQ has them.

I use the CB so when they do close combat and get singled out by another independent char they get at least a save. I only break them out of those groups if I have to contest another objective and dont feel like draggin the boyz along. The KFF I agree with you most of the time I can get my 4+ from the terrain but it is inevitable that each group will get shot at one point with no cover and its gonna cost me.

Oh btw got a better list in mind? I would like to see your suggestion on a 500 point. Thanks for replying need more feedback.

Im actually use to placing HQ's in units because I tend to vs alot of things that can insta kill them ie Lascannon for example.

Load up yer meaniez and da Boss in da trukk w/ paint job, and your little gitz in yer normal trukk. Drop da hamma and haul azz up and get some killinz. Make sure to use yer WAAAAAAGHHHHH when you disembark your greeniez if you must to get in furious charge range! You don't need to be shootin any guys, you like da head bashin'!

Nobbiez will get wound allocation so dey be lastin you da long time. Dey getz to do lotz of killinz before dey fallz.

Da Boyz and Nob go get da blood rage on one of da weaker troopz yer enemy put on board to die for you!

Don't forget to use da trukkz to block da sight of enemy dat got dem shooty gunz after dey drop off your greeniez! Make it very fun to have dem waste round or 2 juz to kill da 40pt trukkz while rest of tide wipe out der buddiez.
