-Everyone

Me and my friends are trying to compile new missions for 5th edition. We have gotten sick of the same old same old from the rule book. We have found some here on Dakka but we want more! We are using my friends blog to make a nexus for new missions found on the Internet. If anyone has links here or elsewhere to some great new missions let us know. We do not care if they are homegrown or not.

What we do not want though is missions for 40k expansions or specialized scenarios like everyone against zombies or something along those lines. We want missions where any army can play against any other army.

thanks in advance!

Feasting on the souls of unworthy opponents

You should check out the missions in the planetstrike book. They're pretty nifty.

If you and your friends are all together at the same time, something fun you can do is a boss brawl. 350 points of an HQ choice; if your army doesn't have a retinue, you pick the elite choice that WOULD be a retinue (chosen, nobs, pariah). No vehicles allowed, and everyone is fearless.

I copied an announcement and pasted it here; take the relevant details for yourself.

The sadistic Dark Eldar have prepared an arena where their tortured prisoners will fight in a free-for-all battle to the death. Only the last survivor in gruesome pit will earn their freedom, and something else…

Details:
Tournament Oganizer:
Entry Fee: $5
Prize: Store Credit for all entry fees.
Army Size: 350 points, HQ choice only – no special characters allowed, nor vehicles.
For armies without a retinue, you may bring one of the following as a retinue:
Chaos: Chosen
Necron: Pariah
Sisters: Celestians
Orks: Nobs
Other: Whatever your elite “bodyguard-looking” unit is.

This is a Free for All, Last Man Standing tournament

Each turn, players all roll D20 to determine player turn order.
+1 point for killing any model, for each model killed.
+2 points for killing any model in close combat.
+5 for finishing off an enemy unit.

Crowd Pleaser points may be spent to add +1 to any combat resolution, or to increase a player’s D20 initiative roll (declared before the roll)

The last HQ unit on the board is the winner.

Other Details

For the TO: You can fit up to 12 people on a single table if you must; optimal size is nine or less with players spread evenly around the outside edges.

If multiple tables are required, the winners of each table(s) face off against each other in a death match.

Thanks Dash

That missions sounds fun and fast.

As for the planetstrike I am really not looking for missions from the expansions which me and my friends mostly avoid.

There was a paintball scenario that i used to play that might work for 40K.

It was call El Presidente. Players had to kill the enemy's team captain (who was unarmed) while protecting their own, escorting them to the other side of the field to the safe zones.

A 40K scenario could have an Independant character, or a model representing a VIP for each side that has to be escorted from one short board edge to the other. No vehicles, no jump troops, just good ol' fashion foot slogging.

Your side is always the "will of the people" the other side is always fundamentalist, extremist, hatemongers, racists, anti- semitic nazies with questionable education and more questionable hygiene. American politics 101.
