i'm sure plenty of posters here have bought forgeworld stuff direct from the UK. unfortunately, despite owning at least 20,000pts worth of 40k stuff (not concurrently, lol!) over the past 10 years, i've never ordered from them. i've been interested in purchasing some of their stuff from ebay or their own website but i'm not sure how their currency conversion works. in their free 2009 catalog, they have USD and UK pound prices. their website FAQ seems to indicate that they charge you in pounds and your credit card company converts it over. with the crappy USD, their stuff is actually cheaper then it was using the conversion compared to their straight USD pricing. How do they actually do it? it's hard to compare if an ebay forgeworld auction is a good deal when you don't know what the actual company charges, also. thanks in advance!

What I do when I want to know a price in USD I just go to google and put the price in there, so if it's 35 pounds I'll put "convert 35 pounds to USD" and it will tell me the right price

As far as I know they charge you in pounds and any of the exchange is done via your payment method, credit card or paypal account ect. The pound has been fluctuating a lot lately it might be worth watching it for a few days and buy when it dips again.

Well they were probably accurate at time of printing, but given the current situation they didn't stay current. I wouldn't worry about the printed prices.

If you buy Forge World products at a Battle Bunker, they use the US price listed in the catalog.

The printed US price in the catalog is what you're charged is you buy FW from a GW store (I think that's only Battlebunkers).
