as it was presented to me, ork weirdboys roll a D6 for a randomly generated psychic power. when you roll i was told you could choose any of the options below what you rolled so if you roll a 4 you could pick any option from the ones listed from 1 to 4 as opposed to using the power that corresponds to the number that was rolled. that doesnt seem right to me. have i been swindled?

No, you should have to pick the power that was rolled on the die IIRC.... I'll have to check the codex though...

Seems pretty clear cut. You roll the die, and that is the power you must use. There is no option to chose a power below the number they have rolled.

Weirdboys with the Warphead upgrade get a reroll but it's still not certain. Oh, and remember that they must roll their psychic test every round. If they succeed they check which power might happen.

isnt there some wierdboy character? anything with him?

That would be Old Zogwort.

He gets extra attacks, poison attacks, and he may choose to substitute using the weirdboy chart with his own special brand of weirdness, "Zogwort's Curse."

1. Pass a leadership test....check.

2. Select an enemy independent character within 18" in line of sight....check.

3. Roll a D6 against them. If you roll higher....BAM! That IC is a squig.

Its a lot of fun.

o yea hes tried that against Dante and Mephiston and lots of pepl from our friends' armies but its never worked to my knowledge. lol that could be devastating...
