Hi Peeps

I wonder if anyone can help. I'm looking to convert some Eldar into more interesting troops, with their heads showing rather than the basic helmet variety....

Now heres the thing, I want to make my army mostly female!!!!!!! I know, I know......but still, I figure if I can find the right heads it should be easy enough!

The most obvious choice would be the GW range of Elves, but GW is crap at sculpting female heads! So, the question stands, where else can I get a good selection of female heads, preferably with pointed ears, but if not no great shame!

Thanks in advance for all your suggestions!

Man down, Man down....

Hasslefree has some nice heads if you're willing to sculpt the hair yourself http://www.hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk/range.php?range_id=60

The old meta is dead and the new meta struggles to be born. Now is the time of munchkins.

Lord Blackfang, I was just about to suggest the same thing.

The Hasslefree heads are free to copy so if you are a da hand with the greenstuff and resin casting, you will be able to whizz up a whole army of heads.

If not, you might consider using some of the Hasslefree spare helmets to cover your lady Elves’ domes.

Easy answer: dark eldar heads! A lot of them aren't blatently evil looking, just elven.

Dark Eldar or Wood Elf heads work well.

GW's female WHFB heads aren't bad actually. It's just Sisters of Battle that they've had problems with.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

I've used the high elf mage heads - they're fairly androgynous and if you're using female torsos they'll at least look like women...

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell
