A year or two ago I ordered 12 blisters of Mounted Daemonettes and they sent me 12 boxes instead (2 blisters to a box). So over the weekend my Planetstrike terrain order came in and it included the Imperial Strongpoint I ordered. I wasn't expecting to find 2 more Strongpoints that I didn't order Just got off the phone with Customer Service and they said "keep em"

Has anyone else gotten more than they ordered?

I ordered Skull Pass and the Witch Hunter handbook, the latter being released a month later than the prior. The store red shirt who would process my order misunderstood my polite request of two separate mail orders, instead ordering it as one big thing, forcing me to wait a month while making me pay twice for shipping. After a polite e-mail to GW they pulled some strings and I got two Skull Pass boxed sets along with the Witch Hunters handbook some days later.

I got an extra set of wheels and 4 square bases one time.

Slightly OT, but when I ordered a large lot from the Warstore I ended up with 3 extra blisters of Swordmasters and one of the boxes of Archers from GW included an extra sprue. It was seriously like Christmas and I was 10 years old again.

On topic,I have never ever in my life gotten anything extra.

I know a guy who ordered the DA bikes+speeder thingy, and ended up getting three of them.

A few spring to mind.

1. Ordered two blisters of Spore Mines, got two GK Terminators w/Psycannons. Gave the Termies to a friend of mine who plays GKs and GW sent me the Spore Mines.
2. When the Defiler first came out I bought two of them. One of the boxes had two Defilers in it.
3. Did a bitz order (back when GW had a useful bitz service) and received a full Whirlwind turret sprue that I didn't order. I had a spare Rhino kicking around, so I got myself a Whirlwind!
4. Ordered a metal Cadian Lascannon team, received a Mortar team instead. Asked if I could have two more Mortar teams (as they hadn't been on the Online store, but obviously existed). They said I couldn't (for some reason) and sent me the Lascannon anyway.
5. Friend of mine ordered the Apoc Dread Mob set, which was 3 Dreads and 6 Kanz. He received 3 Kanz and 6 Dreads. He wrote to them telling them he had received only 3 Kanz, so they sent him the other 3. Net gain = 3 free Ork Dreadz!

I get random boxes from the Mail guys about once or twice a year. This has been going on for at least 7 or 8 years.

while i haven't gotten any extra bits beyond the occasional base from gw, with privateer press, i fairly regularly seem to end up with a few extra heads, or backbacks, or other minor bits

I got an extra base with my valkyrie.

About 18 months ago my girlfriend received a box of Krieg combat engineers from Forgeworld. We found this odd as she doesn't play 40K and hadn't ordered anything (for me) from Forgeworld in about a year. To the person(s) who ordered those combat engineers but never got them: we apologise for being on Forgeworld's customer database.

Iv gotton double or wrong orders from bitz places. they usually say kee them as a gift for screwing up your order.

I got a blister of Grots with my order of Servitors and Arbites a while back (when Servitors and Arbites were still on the menu).

Yeah... Why would you even say anything? Just remember not to change your address .

I was short 1 base and called them up and got a whole bag of them ... now im waiting on a Chaos terminator shoulder pad for the right shoulder.

Holy gak that's some luck.

I remember one christmas I ordered the B5 1st edition RPG from Mongoose and got 2 of them.

Was talking to one guy recently... he had purchased the Ravenwing box, with the 6 bikes, Landspeeder, and Attack Bike.

GW sold him 1 Bike, 1 Landspeeder, and 7 Attack Bike upgrade sprues, plus the DA stuff in that box.

He called, mentioned it, and they sent him a new box with the correct sprues. He got to keep the 1st box.

One time I ordered some stuff, and inside the box was a leprechaun! He gave me some gold, we had a laugh and then we parted ways. Thanks GW!

A couple of years ago I ordered the Epic Imp. guard LR Company. It arrived with a turret missing, I complained and GW customer service said they would send a replacement part. A few days later a complete new box arrived followed by an entire Human Bloodbowl team?

The New LR box was clearly intentional and you have to appreciate the service received, prehaps the BB team shows why they cant afford to discount their own product!

GW are sending a compleat chaos terminator box just to replace 1 right shoulder pad.

That beats my Grey Knights rather than Spore Mines. I think you win for the sheer randomness of it.

I ordered five Chaos Knight regiments and got five Chaos Chosen boxes instead. Yes, the expensive metal ones. I called the mail order trolls, and bam! I got five boxes of Knights. Ne'er have I seen a bigger (or more beneficial) stuff-up.
